IN shocking scenes filmed last night, Corrie street legend Ken Barlow (William Roache) filmed his final scenes in which he stands in the center of a burning Rovers Return as he gently hums Adele's "Set Fire To The Rain".

Bill said of his decision to quit "I got bored of playing Ken, but I will be returning next summer as Ken's secret brother, Ben Barlow, Ben is the polar opposite of Ken and will make his entrance by seducing sexy siren Eileen Grimshaw.

It would have surprised me, becasue he said on TV a few weeks back, there were more storylines lined up for Ken and he had no wish to go anywhere.
