Ke$ha singing without auto-tune

Just heard this on Greg James' show on Radio 1:

The verses are reasonably OK but jezus she sounds like a strangled cat during the chorus :joker:

-doesn't think it's that bad- :suspect:

Smithy 03-04-2012 05:17 PM

oh she just hit the chorus, ow my ears

Awful but probably no worse than half the people that are getting all the promotion an chart success these days

Once you're famous, surely there is no excuse to not have the best vocal coaches in the world, making sure you can sing?

Marc 03-04-2012 05:20 PM

 She's not known for her good voice mind, she makes auto-tune'y music lol

I actually like Ke$ha's songs, I just found this hilarious :joker:

I'm sorry - but the fact people like her can get to Number One for weeks when they sound like this, and real musicians with complete raw talent, don't even make it into The Top 40, actually makes my blood boil.

Brother Leon 03-04-2012 05:55 PM

This is nothing new. The majority if the top 40 sound like this off auto tune.

Yet people say Dappy isn't talented when he drops killer hooks without it a d sounds the same live.

I don't think I will ever bash the likes of Justin Bieber ever again after hearing this.

Well good, because at least he can actually sing...

Smithy 03-04-2012 06:05 PM

Not really since his voice broke

Shaun 03-04-2012 06:08 PM

Yeah I heard this ages ago... quite funny
