I know there has being a lot of negativity on the forums recently...
But my excitement for big brother is coming back.

You never know this year might actually be good.
Big brother 13 goes first then we don't need to worry too much about the celeb one as that's not as good.

Channel 5 where happy with the ratings and they might want to bump it up a notch and try get more watching.
I think with the recent live feed success.
They will AT LEAST do what happened in BB10 or possibly put live feed online for a fee like BB11.

There is money to be made in the online streaming fee.
Plus I wouldn't be surprised if because of the whole fighting that went on with Denise in the recent CBB and the sudden jump of 1 million viewers in that night. It went from 1.86 million to 2.78 in one night because of that fight.
Channel 5 might drop the romance **** and go for good old fashion fighting. Like bb5-bb7.

Just remember this time last year we where on the edge of out seats to see if biggy will ever come back.

I think I'm kinda happy to as i know i can audition when im 17 and i will be 18 in march before i enter the house therefore i can try get in.

I wouldn't care about the money or the z list celebrity 15 min fame ****.
I'd just be happy to participate in my favorite show.

Just have high hopes guys because i think this year may just be a shocker.
Plus bb13 might have higher ratings as its in its original slot.

It would be AMAZING if BB went "Evil again"

So yea...
I think i'd be a bit more excited if there was some news floating about.
And the advertising of the series should start now.

I just hope we have no leaks of housemates/the house pics.

And i pray to God we have a new eye and house.

Odd numbered series are usually better, though Channel 5 regard this as series 2.

I think this year will be pretty good too. I really want that feeling you get when you just can't wait to tune in to BB every night! I felt like this during CBB9 but not BB12... Hopefully BB13 will be epic though!

If they're going to ex housemates onto BOTS constantly and call Brian the ultimate housemate - then they are acknowledging the old era of Big Brother.

I really miss this feeling.

They need more attached hot girls and guys. Less single hot girls and guys. Two seasons in a row where relationships were pretty dominant in the viewing of the season. I'd like to see a season were no serious relationships flare up but there's lots of craziness.

I'm actually going to watch this season :amazed:

Probably just another year of wannabe celebrities put forward by agents instead of the people who actually audition

I'm pretty much expecting it to just be a repeat of BB12, none diverse cast, no real memorable events, and not trusting anything the producers do/show.

I don't think it'll be a repeat of BB12 at all. It was Channel5s first year with BB and it's turned out pretty well for them. They'll wanna grow and develop things.

Every 4 years there's an outstanding memorable moment of big brother, bb1 = nasty nick getting caught *4 years on* ..bb5 - fight night *4 years on* ..bb9 fight night & dennis being removed *4 years on* .. bb13.. we might be in for a treat, I share your excitement pronshi and this is my first ever comment on this forum site!!!

BB12's housemates weren't that bad - it's just that we didn't get to know them, but then again the BB10 Housemates were great and we didn't really know them [due to lack of LF in 2009 aswell].

But I blame it on the producers and that's why this year will be no different from CBB8, BB12 and CBB9.
It's just one big continuous sham now - they don't change it anymore, they've only had 2 three week series and 1 ten week series, and already it feels dull and dead.

At least Channel 4 changed it, and shook it up - this just seems like the same house, same eye, same series, same tasks etc constantly.


BB9 had about 300 Outstanding moments :love:

I think the cast was just too young. Without and older influence to ground them a bit they all spent too much time thinking about becoming famous once they got out instead of enjoying the experience.
We need more HGs with confidence that want to go into the house and have fun and enjoy it.

haha I was thinking about that aswell, the odd ones really are the best! BB1 was amazing with Nasty Nick, BB3 with the Jade-isms and her fights with Adele, BB5 and Fight Night! BB7 and Nikki's tantrums, BB9 with spitgate and Kathreya's singing, BB11 had too many memorable moments. Lets hope BB13 is some great viewing... :)
