But I'm afraid Audrey is stupid for signing over the salon to David in the first place. By all means give him ownership for when you retire or for when she passes but to give it him straight out after all he's done over the years and especially since he married the gold digger.

Sean looks very pensive if it's just the hot pot recipe.

Tbh I am looking forward to seeing the Terry return rather than Betty's funeral, which I aren't too particularly bothered about.

Earlier this month, Coronation Street's producer Phil Collinson disclosed the full details of a long-held secret kept by Betty, which will be revealed to the local residents next week.

However, this isn't the only secret in the mix - as Betty also leaves behind her famous hotpot recipe!

Sean (Antony Cotton) is stunned when Gordon hands him a letter that Betty penned for him before her death. The note contains the full recipe, allowing Sean to make sure that the pub's signature dish continues to be served up. Can he live up to Betty's high standard?

Sean's hotpot doesn't have the same ring to it...

Apparently:

"Actor Sir Derek Jacobi is set to appear as an extra in Coronation Street, it has been revealed.

The stage and screen star was on a private visit to the soap's Manchester set and was filmed at the back of a shot in the Rovers Return pub.

It is likely that viewers of the ITV1 drama will not spot Sir Derek, who is best known for his Shakespearian roles."
