Thunderstorms

I don't think there's been a thread on this before so um yeah.

Do you like them?

I love them. I don't really know why though. I guess I just like the drama of them. :joker:

King Gizzard 12-04-2012 05:33 PM

prefer light precipitation to be honest

Ninastar 12-04-2012 05:36 PM

I say I do but then I get nervous everytime

Mystic Mock 12-04-2012 05:52 PM

I don't like things that could kill me.

King Gizzard 12-04-2012 05:59 PM

Reliably informed Caitlin takes refuge in her younger siblings room

Marc 12-04-2012 06:00 PM

Yes, very much so, sitting/laying in bed watching it all outside is amazing

Josy 12-04-2012 06:01 PM

Yes but they frighten me too

Vicky. 12-04-2012 06:04 PM

Love them. Forked lightning (and any lightening actually) is so beautiful :')

The main reason I like them though is because when one is due I get a really horrible headache...and as soon as the thunder arrives I get instant relief

Do you stick your head out the window? :suspect:

Shaun 12-04-2012 06:06 PM

I probably wouldn't like them so much if I were outside for the duration  but I love the sound and flashing when inside.

Bollo 12-04-2012 06:06 PM

I do tend to go for a wander in it though, have done since I was a child. My mum and dad used to go mental with me about it :joker:

Marc 12-04-2012 06:10 PM

Especially with that metal plate in your head

nicole_burks 12-04-2012 06:10 PM

Yeah. There's one that came by my house about 15 miles away. still pretty close though.
In the first video, I actually got to go by there and see all the damage. It was sad

Marc 12-04-2012 06:26 PM

wow. I would never get excited by a tornado

Benjamin 12-04-2012 06:28 PM

I'd love to see a tornado too.

My Mum and Dad have been through countless hurricanes when they went to Florida in the 90s. They were actually there when Hurricane Andrew hit. I wished I was there too.

I saw a Tornado a few years ago in Erdington High Street, it was horrible and I wouldn't wish that on Cheryl Tweedy.
