children increase use of PORN

this was in the news a few days back - and i think the whole reason is because it is all at our fingertips - surely there must be a way to block this ? or is it something we have to learn to live with ?

PornWorld

i am not surprised,
this is not complex,
the only way of selling anything,
is pure sex.
from teeny poppers music,
even drinks have a link,
we live in a sexual society,
no time to blink.
it starts at school,
they have to be in fashion,
all the brand names,
from cool to hip to love and passion.
teenage years are impressionable,
its not helped by "Maddona" aka "Madge",
this old trollop in a bikini,
putting her legs behind her head showing her badge.
now the biggest factor,
which has made porn explode,
because everything is at your key,
Technology dose have no safe mode.
from phones to cameras,
sex, lady's, men, its all for let,
i do believe there is a solution,
someone take my poem and shut off the internet.

You know you love it...

The porn not the children.

lostalex 21-04-2012 01:21 PM

if i had a computer in my room when i was going thru puberty, i'd never leave my room, and i'd be watching nothing but porn.

also i think porn is more hardcore then it ever was before. most porn now is very abusive towards women.

when i was a kid i used to draw my own porn lol. literally drew pictures and jerked off to it.

if i ever have kids they won't get to see the internet til they are atleast 16.

i wouldn't want my children learning sexuality from porn on the internet. it's so abusive towards women. they will think that it's okay to be abusive in sex. and girls think that it's okay for a man to abuse you. I'll teach my daughters that sex is about YOU getting pleasure, not letting men do whatever they want, which is what porn teaches them. Porn is all about men's fantasies. where do they get to see women's fantasies??

I won't let my daughters anywhere near a computer.

Why don't parents use their brain and put computers in the living room?

That's quite some psychic ability you have there!

We all grew up interested in sex and giggling over the porno mags when someone got their hands on them but I do agree that it is far too explicit, far too hardcore and unfortunately because it is so easily accessible: it does give out the wrong image to 'many' - ie: the perfect body, the implants, that taping people having sex is fine - so many downsides to it.

Many do to be fair - but many are happy with the teens out of the way in their bedrooms - and lets be honest: the teens are happy with that too most of the time - they need their personal space. It's how to restrict it that's the problem.

and porn is almost 100% from a man's point of view. There is no porn that represents healthy FEMALE sexuality. all of the porn is male made and male controlled and makes women just a sexual object.

where is the porn for women that shows a healthy expression of women enjoying sex? most porn now just makes women a sex toy for boys. I don't want my daughter to think that she is just a sex toy to make boys feel good.

She needs to know that sex is for HER to enjoy, and her enjoying it is more important than a horny BOY enjoying it. The vast majority of porn is about men USUING women like a sex doll. it has no respect for women at all. and it makes it look like the more aggressive then women should just TAKE it and enjoy it.

I'm not gonna let my daughter be exposed to that kind of propaganda.

I think it's perfectly natural that people are accessing porn from a younger age. I'd have been doing the same thing.

In Amsterdam, there are hardcore images in the windows of cinema's, and all over the place, but the Dutch haven't had issues with deviance among it's population, whilst we were being all prudish.

but women are still unequal in dutch society, right??

and you don't think that treating women like sex toys has anything to do with that???

Please don't speak for everyone, you aren't speaking for me - I'm no prude at all, I do have an opinion on this that doesn't match yours.

That doesn't make me prudish. It makes me consider all angles as far as my own moral compass dictates.

You do realise that women enjoy sex too.

Many women enjoy porn and quite rightly too.

Women are equal in Dutch society.

But if they weren't I don't believe that porn would be in any way responsible for that. I'd look at history, religion and superstition first.

yes, but the vast majority of women don't enjoy sex the 3ay it's portrayed in porn. porn makes it looks like rape most times.

that's why i pointed out that porn portrays a false view of sex, and it will make girls think that the sex portrayed in porn is normal, when in fact it's not normalk..

Most girls don't want aggressive sex that hurts. but if you only watch porn, you would think that all girls want to be raped.

wqhere is the porn that portrays what girls fantasize about?
'
do yu think girls fantasize about some fat gross old idiot raping them while they are babysitting the neighbors kids???

porn does not represent healthy sexuality, it represents nasty old pervert male fantasies.

How many women have you slept with that you are able to make such an assertion?

I feel you are working on an assumption. Porn movies come in all forms of gendre - from abusive, loving, fun, hardcore - depending on the type of market the porn movie is being targetted at.

Porn movies - most women porn actors chose that by their own volition. They are paid good money for it. It is an acting role and one in which some do, and some don't, enjoy the sexual act.

Not all porn is M-F. I suspect you don't have that much knowledge in relating to how some/many women do (and many do) enjoy sex: of varying degrees, on various levels.

Perhaps you would have to actually experience a liberated, confident women's sexual activity / life - for you to really be in more of a position to comment on how some/many women themselves feel about sex / the type of sex they like / and why.

It is natural for children to want to know more as they enter puberty: that's life.

I am sure there is good reason for it - though this thread isn't discussion personal sex lives: it's about children accessing porn on the internet.

and this is the problem. you think that porn's representation is normal. you are justifying it now. just because some women like rough sex you think a;ll women shoukld like it??

i'm sorry, but you are wrong, and you are proving exactly what i am saying. you've watched so much porn that now you think that that type of sex IS normal.

thank you proving my point.

PMSL. The irony.

*thinks to self*

What has this to do with the topic? Are you unable to stay on topic - you know the one that was discussing children access to porn?
