Story focused video games
 

Carrying on from the GOAT thread, I thought it'd be good to take this convo here. Discuss/Suggest games that are more focused on story than exploration ect.

All the Final Fantasys up to FFX
Grandia
Dragon Quest
Kingdom Hearts
Shadow Hearts
Breath Of Fire
Golden Sun
Chrono Trigger
Earthbound
The Legend of Dragoon

Can't really think of any recent RPGS that have been very story focused.. Lost Odyssey maybe

Arc the Lad as well :worship:

Persona 4 is easily the best in recent years.

"All the Final Fantasys up to FFX" and Including FFX in that too!

Final Fantasy XIII-2 was quite well done, though it did have an element of exploration to it

Yeah i did like Final Fantasy XIII-2 that was the game where Final Fantasy really started to change though

Oh FFXIII-2 i read that as FFXII-2 then...

Half Life 2 is also a good series (and Portal too, since it's set during Half Life 2)
