Running order- does it affect votes?
So- Joelle's up first tonight (She posted it on twitter), so does the running order affect votes and could we be saying goodbye to Joelle tomorrow because of this-
discuss... |
She'll probably be a bit shaky as she's first, but generally people take into account that she's first up and I'm sure people who support here wouldn't turn their backs straight away if her performance wasn't 100%.
|
Sometimes it does.
But many times the person who get's 'death spot' have avoided B2/elimination. |
Definitely.
|
Not really, people tend to have their favourites by this point so will vote for them anyway.
|
I think it sort of does
Because the mind usually remember the last ones first |
As seen on TXF it sure can do.
|
It definitely does and stats pretty much would back this up but I don't have any to hand.
|
I think it can, if the opening act is absolutely great and also more importantly a likeable act, then it may not matter but overall the opening act is the one the following acts are compared to and if one of more are deemed better than the first act then the recollection of that act fades quickly and likely often ends up getting overlooked once voting begins.
|
Joelle was up first Joelle was in the bottom two. Nuff said.
|
And Samuel was first for Team Tom and was eliminated.
So I do think that it shows, you need to have a massive fan-base to stay. Becky would survive on Team Jessie if you she was first on. |
But then there is a reason why the favoured acts aren't on first at this stage.

Spoiler about who goes tonight in this spoiler tag
