She's a babe! The guy in the shop recommended her because she's so tame.

If you want a really interesting, exotic yet low-maintenance pet, get a tarantula! I'm terrified of house spiders but love tarantulas.

She's a girl so I've hopefully got about 20 years with her now (males only live for 5 years, women for over 30).

One of my best friends bought a tarantula last year, they're horrid!!

My housemate has a tarantula. I always forget that until I go into his room.

Spiders are beautiful creatures, I'm just not keen on our British house spiders with the speed of a Cheetah. I think it's the thin legs...
