would you be offended if I suggested pink hair rather than the green!! :D

Ninastar 02-05-2012 10:41 AM

I don't think it seems that bad

but then I think about it, and it's glass. I'd be paranoid that it would be come loose then I would stand on it and it could break

That thought also came to mind...... as well as the fixings coming away from the mountain side...... gawd: the very thought of it, turns my stomach.

Josy 02-05-2012 10:52 AM

I would never walk across that and I am afraid of heights but looking at the pic doesn't bother me

Z 02-05-2012 10:58 AM

Bunch of women! Why's it such an issue!?

MTVN 02-05-2012 11:09 AM

Be more dodgy if there was no barrier and it was a bit narrower

Livia 02-05-2012 11:12 AM

I've been on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass walkway 4000' above the canyon. Athough I'm not at all afraid of heights and it was an amazing experience, there was a part of me that thought, Oooo 'ang on a minute.... and made me want to grab the handrail.

thesheriff443 02-05-2012 11:16 AM

i would not choose to do that but would have to if i had no choice but i would no bet hanging around.

I've only seen pics of that Livia and it makes my blood crawl - although I am in complete awe of it and those who can take on the experience. You are a brave woman missus..... I honestly couldn't do it for love nor money.

I'm not really brave it just doesn't scare me. Plop me in the middle of the ocean and I'd probably die of fright.

King Gizzard 02-05-2012 04:51 PM

Looks fine to me

Jords 02-05-2012 04:53 PM

I really want to jump up and down on it!!!

Niall 02-05-2012 06:40 PM

That looks terrifying, but really fun at the same time. :amazed:

I went up a skyscraper in China, and it had a glass platform, and all the Chinese people started jumping on the glass. I was terrified. :bored:

Jords.... are you Chinese? :suspect:

If EVER I was somehow persuaded to walk on something like this: if people started jumping - you'd have to bury me.

Marc 02-05-2012 07:01 PM

That is actually real?! D: omg

King Gizzard 02-05-2012 07:01 PM

I'm weird, I hate looking up at heights, but when I'm on them, i'm fine

:joker::joker::joker:

Tbh the tower I went up was worse, because it was next to a main road and you could see all the people and cars:

I think the platform is like 400/300 metres up? My Mum refused to walk on it.
