She's lived there her whole life even through a World War and then some horrible bastards who probably haven't served any real purpose to the world think they have the right to do this to her, why do people like that even exist. Birmingham seems to have got worse rapidly as well

Ageist bastards. It never ceases to amaze me how stupid some people are. It's flabbergasting - really. Poor lady. I do hope she pulls through and isn't left permanently scarred (physically and/or mentally) by these twisted little morons.

Shocking picture,I hope she is ok,I hope those cowards get what they deserve but I think it's been abolished ! lets hope they get caught sent to prison and the inmates can show them how it feels.

Don't know how anyone could batter anyone like this let alone an old lady. Even if she pull through this she'll no doubt live the last years of her life in fear.

Police have arrested two people in connection with the severe beating of a 93-year-old great-grandmother in her bed.

A woman, 56, and a 28-year-old man were arrested at their home in the Hall Green area of Birmingham just before 6.30am, on suspicion of assault on Emma Winnall.

They have been taken to a police station in the West Midlands.

56? If she's found guilty...Christ, should certainly know better.

I bet its a neighbour, trying to latch on to fleece her, my aunt was targetted by a woman like that ...She got the message though after we found out haha

I don't care how old they are/were, whoever did this are totally rotten people,they should be put away for life, and life should mean life,since we don't have the death penalty in this Country.
