Nelly Furtado debuts new album 'The Spirit Indestructible' artwork
 

Nelly Furtado has unveiled the artwork for her forthcoming album.

The singer will release The Spirit Indestructible as her fifth studio record on June 18 in the UK and a day later in the US.

The star unveiled two versions of the artwork - one for the standard edition and one for an expanded deluxe collection.

Furtado co-wrote every track on the album and worked with a variety of producers including Rodney Jerkins, Bob Rock and John Shanks.

"I began writing these songs around the time I released my Spanish album Mi Plan," Furtado explained. "I was in a great headspace, feeling refreshed and ready to really deliver in English again.

"This album is all about positivity, youth, good energy, and the relentlessness of the spirit. I want people to live this music the way we did when we wrote it.

"I want them to jump, dance, scream, laugh, cry, love and vibe to it, and to turn it up very loud everywhere."

Yay :) I like how she keeps the same writing on each album

The writing's changed a bit though - looks much more plain. I prefer the old one.
But I like the album art on a whole.

New cover is so boring. :/

I hated the cover for TSI at first, but the more I see it, the more I like it. She looks so pretty.

I think I love Big Hoops SO much that I sort of approve of anything Nelly does these days.

Big Hoops entered the Mid-week chart at #12, lets hope it gets higher before Sunday :amazed:


(although tbh im glad it got as high as 12 as I thought it would flop :laugh:)
