Should the UK get their own version of The Amazing Race?

This is my first season watching The US version of The Amazing Race but have found out that Australia and Norway each have adopted the format of the show. If small countries like these can pull off an expensive show like The Amazing Race, surely the UK can? I've been especially enjoying watching The Amazing Race: Australia on youtube and can't wait for the 2nd season to start as the following kick-ass teaser hints.

Should the UK get their own version and would you watch it?

It's a race that covers the globe where teams (each with 2 people) race to different countries and complete tasks. It's a show that consistently gets awards for best reality tv show in the states.

Here was the promo for the 20th season which began last February.

Also, the finale airs tomorrow and Big Brother's Rachel and Brendon are a team and they still have a shot at winning.

That would be amazing. I love The Amazing Race but I must say the international editions are much better than the US version nowadays. TAR Norway has a great route and the tasks actually require skill and hard-work rather than being luck-based or unbelievably simple like the TAR US tasks have been - it's a good throwback to the old days of TAR. TAR Australia 1 was one of the best seasons ever and had a crazy cast, but unfortunately the whole route was a rehash of different TAR Asia routes. Luckily the upcoming season seems to be paving new paths.
