The First time i've cried over a guy

So today was the first time i ever cried over a guy, and it was a guy from ONLINE!! we've enefer even met. I think i'm losing my mind and should check myself into a mental institution, wtf.

So i met this guy about a year ago, and we've been talking on the phone/flirting/chatting/skyping for the entire time. So for the pst few weeks i could tell things were different and today we finally had the end all be all blow out argument to end it, and i actually cried. I've never cried over a guy before.

I'm listening to fuuuuuucking Kelly Clarkson and dying inside. :( wtf, how can i feel stronger about someone i've never even met then all the real relationships i've had?

Have you guys ever had intense online relationships?

This seriously sucks, and i don't know what's making me feel worse, the fact that i've lost him, or the fact that i'm this emotional about someone i've not even met. I feel sooo pathetic.

Maybe taking a break from the internet for a while will help? You live in Cali, there must be tons of distractions. Go out with your mates and get trashed or something.

If ever there was good reason to be aware of online infatuations, and misplaced love interests: this is it.

With all respect: perhaps go out and meet people in real life rather than cling to online romantic liaisons which can (and do, as you have found out) turn out to be less of a romance than one may imagine it to be.

I dont know why but I thought you had a wife and kids :S

But no not really anything intense but Ive fancied people online before, its odd.

this should do the trick

i think its coz u tend to tell people online a lot more than u wud face to face. treat it as break up and u will soon b ok x

Oh, wow. Just get hammered with your mates. Be a man. You'll be fine.

I thought I was in love with a girl online when I was about 16. It's strange how well you can connect with people online. But then I guess I got older, drifted apart from her and realised I like peen as well.

awwww

People are people, it doesn't matter that much where you met this guy, I suppose he was just more special to you then people you'd met in r/l.

Kate! 16-05-2012 11:41 AM

yeah, I've felt that connection too, just the once. That's as much as I'll say :D

Your feelings are valid, don't be down on yourself, regardless of the fact you didn't actually meet in person, you still established a strong bond from the sound of it, so losing that is inevitably going to hurt. I hope you feel better about it soon, ok.

Do you mind if i ask how old you are?

Obviously if you're an adult you need to get out there and meet real people because you cant life your life online, its not healthy. No offence but online relationships are not real either, they just arnt, you never even met this person.
