She's joining Britney Spears on Monday in The Fox New York Upfronts

Jords 14-05-2012 02:17 AM

What on earth has she got to offer? :idc:

GypsyGoth 14-05-2012 02:19 AM

I think it's the voters and viewers she might attract. All those Jonas Brother & Selena Gomez type fans.

the young people and 19-48 demos. Britney isn't "popular" to tweens, Demi Lovato is. Also I know that she won't get the overs in the first season. But if she does ever man that will be weird. Very Very Weird.

I love Demi  I think she'll be a good judge and I can see her and Britney becoming close friends.

Vanessa 14-05-2012 01:02 PM

It's a shame they don't show it on tv! I love Britney! :bawling:

They do. They showed Series I on ITV2 over here. Josh Krajcik

I doubt I can take Demi seriously to be honest.

Omg! I hope they show it! Britney as a judge! Omg! She's going to be amazing! :amazed:

She like a nice person, but don't really see what she can offer most the singers though

If I was a middle aged singer or whatever I wouldn't be able to stomach being given critique on my vocals from a little girl who's been around all of 5 minutes.

If X Factor had any credibility to start with, they just lost it.

This. I'd never heard of her so had to look her up. Was a bit shocked to see she was only 19. Her age might cause some problems.

actually the US version minimum is 12, Yes, 12. I would just laugh if she gets stuck with the over 30s (It's Boys 12-30, Girls 12-30, Groups, and Over 30s)
and yes they did have some 12-15 years old the first season (Rachel Crow 13, Drew of Girls Catergory 14, half of the manufactured group inTENsity, and Astro Boys catergory 15. And Rachel Crow was the last of them finishing 5th in controversal way.)

Patrick 14-05-2012 08:41 PM

:laugh2:

It's not even that she's been around five minutes, she was big in 2008 - and that was it. She was made famous by a silly Disney film made to rival High School Musical, and failed at doing so.
She's not relevant, she never was, and as you said she's just a girl. I find this whole thing laughable.

Not over here she hasn't been but in America she's a household name.

actually Skyscraper and Give Your Heart a Break (Both songs are by her) are hits in the states.

Just basically people are reacting to her in the opposite way of when it was confirmed that it was going to be Cheryl Cole on the US version. Instead of who the **** is this bitch? It's OMG it's DEMI! I must watch it

Patrick 14-05-2012 08:45 PM

Sh*t, Forgot that we're talking about an American audience.

And it's funny because now we're thinking who the **** is this bitch where as we know Cheryl.
