Pictures of Pete snorting ketamine emerge

The Mirror has today published pictures of Pete snorting lines of ketamine.

Provided by a ‘friend’, the picture confirm a story which emerged weeks earlier in The Sun.

The paper was told: "We would cook up the liquid Ketamine to make the powder then snort it on nights out. We were all really into it as an experiment - but Pete got more involved than the rest of us."

After Pete saw his friend die in a horrific accident, his drug addiction apparently became worse: "Pete really changed after the accident. He just retreated into himself and was even considering suicide. He started doing more and more Ketamine and I was worried about him."

During a New Year’s Eve party the problem apparently came to a head: "It was horrible. The drug-taking there was beyond abusive and Pete got carried away. He was wasted, rolling around on the floor and laughing uncontrollably.

"I was scared someone might not take kindly to his Tourette's and might hit him. I remember trying to sit on him to control him. A friend called him over and next thing I knew we didn't see him again.

"People were throwing cans and bottles outside as the party came to an end. I was really panicking and saying 'Where's Pete?' Then a few hours later I got a phone call saying he was in hospital.

"The police had taken him there after seeing him rolling around on the floor. He didn't have a clue where he was and was very scared."

This acted as a turning point for Pete: "He came out of his bad time suddenly, it was like he had a vision of his future and things he wanted to do and I think that led to him being on Big Brother.

"He wants fame and to be known for something. He's much better now - much more positive."

Old news.

It's probably not something he's going to bring up, but atleast that guy has actually lived and experienced life, even if it wasn't that enjoyable.

The rest of the housemates could only wish for an anecdote and life lesson like that.

Hope he's off that stuff now.

I knew he took drugs but I expected these pics to come out near the final few weeks to put people off voting not now.

Like I said, everyone makes mistakes. Instead of dwelling on the past people should judge him based on what he's like now, and I think he's great.
