They're all excellent but I think VIII will always have a special place in my heart.

FFVII was my first FF, I just remember being constantly hyped for Final Fantasy VIII though. I pretty much spent a year being excited for it's release. FFVII is one of the best games ever made though, just not my favourite FF.
