It\'s so annoying when they sound dip when they play music!

They're doing karaoke, and it kind of defeats the point of it for the viewer!

Saving it all for the higlights show tommorow I bet, the swines!

BB-Rocks 29-06-2006 10:25 PM

I find it very annoying.

I hardly ever watch the live feed anymore because theirs so many sound dips

bonnie43uk 29-06-2006 10:25 PM

I agree, it totally pee's me off .. but i think they HAVE to do it for legal reasons. . . i hate any sound dips, very frustrating!!! .. i've got those sounds in my head now .. birds singing, train tooting, blackbirds squabbling. Maybe its time to change the sound effects .. I'm sure they've been using the same ones since BB2.

..i'd like a babbling brook or the sound of someone cracking open the top of a brand new coffee jar .. you know, when you pierce the paper with a spoon .. i love that sound.

blackgloves 29-06-2006 10:28 PM

I dont understand how it can be legal reasons, because tomorrow they will air it on the highlights show, and when its repeated on E4 on Sat.

bonnie43uk 29-06-2006 10:34 PM

well maybe they will only have to pay royalties only once then Blackgloves.
.. i dunno, i'm just speculating

Mmmmm .. i love that M+S advert with the glass of champaign with the raspberry in it, and the splash of pomegrante!! ... I bet susie drinks that all the time!!!!!

blackgloves 29-06-2006 10:35 PM

Oh well, guess we will just have cope with it, no doubt we will get a watered down version of tonight karaoke tomorrow.

xGemmax 29-06-2006 10:38 PM

It annoyes the hell out of me! I dont believe most of the time its for legal reasons i think usually they just want to save bits for the main show and then they dont even end up showing them. Its so annoying.

Mike 29-06-2006 11:05 PM

The sound dips are well annoying but they have to do them for legal reasons as we all know, also they like to save things like the housemates singing for the channel 4 show as it can be pretty funny.

BB-Rocks 29-06-2006 11:06 PM

The sound dips are worse this year

SNEEZER 30-06-2006 12:02 AM

I don't really know why they do it on the live feed as it's bad enough as it is, especially when they'll be airing some of it on the highlights show. Any time they have a party it just means that there'll be no sound for at least an hour. It's rubbish!

GlitterEyes 30-06-2006 12:04 AM

If they are going to pay they will only want to pay for the copyrights once for the main channel 4 show highlights rather than it all. I wish they would just get some songs they can play because watching them with no sound is awful especialy when singing.

Mike 30-06-2006 12:06 AM

Very frustrating because you just want to hear what song their singing and how funny they sound.

GlitterEyes 30-06-2006 12:09 AM

Plus if they can actually sing. Everything is to serious and its all about money. They should have plenty considering its 50p a vote. Does anyone know if the votes are down this year?

MummyJens01 30-06-2006 12:11 AM

They Were Singing " All I Want For Christmas" - I Can Lip Read A Little!!

SNEEZER 30-06-2006 12:36 AM

They earn shedloads of dosh from the phone votes so mony shouldn't be an issue. Quality entertainment and ratings should be though.

James 30-06-2006 07:21 AM

Yeah they have to pay royalties for songs sung. It can be quite expensive and I think there is an issue where artists might not necessarily approve of other people singing their material.

In a previous Big Brother the producers gave the housemates songsheets of approved songs.

BigSister 30-06-2006 11:38 AM

yeah i was watching a bit last night but i found it funny trying to work out the songs

sol 30-06-2006 03:32 PM

The first song was Dancing Queen by ABBA, and I think I managed to lip-read Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics as the second song that Mikey and Aisleyne sang, but don't quote me on the secong one. The first one was definately Dancing Queen though.

GlitterEyes 30-06-2006 03:38 PM

Yeah and a Ricky Martin track that nobody wanted to do lol.
