11% down on day 2 of facebook crash - will it ever rise again ?

day 2 and 11% down - Tweet that on your Disgracebook 22.5.12

never did i believe,
so fall would be so brutal,
if i done social media,
my last poem and this, would not be fruit-fall.
well done for "Awakening",
but this is no "Robert De Niro",
because we need to rid all twins,
i will name and shame "twitter" as Danny De Vito".
its day 2,
11% down is Zuckerberg account,
confidence is dropping,
interest is starting to dismount.
am i responsible,
i don't think my poems have any power,
so sorry if i humiliated,
but dropping this nonsense will ensure you flower.
go out everyone,
join a club and interact,
you can not live at the screen,
its a sad and boring fact.
congratulations "Zuckerberg",
on the "news" i saw your marriage,
but i am so sorry for your loss,
"Facebook" is your "baby" and its going to miscarriage.

(this is just my personal op-ion and i think people have finally cottoned onto to just how boring this idea was and to make friends its much better to go out and meet people then sitting infron of a pc with 5 million friends you have never met - but what do you think ? can facebook ever become popular again ?)

I love you.

Shaun 22-05-2012 05:25 PM

considering it's used by over 500 million people I'd hardly call it unpopular

Patrick 22-05-2012 05:47 PM

Actually it did crash yesterday for me several times, dunno why? Was up and running again after 5 or so mins though.

MTVN 22-05-2012 06:11 PM

He doesn't mean the site's crashed, he means the price of their shares  they went on sale to the public at $38 a share on Friday and that's lowered to $33.3 now

Would help if Waterhog sometimes gave a bit more info about what he's going on about

Test on your times tables tomorrow, Joe?

Jack_ 22-05-2012 06:40 PM

I have to say there's something very odd about the concept of essentially floating people's lives on the stock market.

Facebook shares fall again as flotation concerns emerge

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18163687

Facebook's flotation has run into more controversy amid reports of concerns about the way advisers disclosed information to investors.

As Facebook shares fell another 9% on Tuesday, regulators said they may review the disclosure process to see if some investors got favourable access.

The SEC and regulatory body FINRA both said they would look into the matter.

Morgan Stanley, lead underwriter on the flotation, said it was "in compliance with all applicable regulations".

Reuters and the Wall Street Journal reported that Facebook's advisers may have revised their financial forecasts for the social networking company, but that only selected investors were told.

Mary Schapiro, chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, said "there are issues that we need to look at".

Richard Ketchum, chief executive of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), said there were "matters of regulatory concern".

Insider trading ..... surely not .....

I don't care. As I said, I was just pissing about. I wasn't expecting a reply.

King Gizzard 23-05-2012 09:50 PM

Not really bothered, ever since timeline came into effect it's terrible

I've gotten use to all the changes in the past, when initially I said I hated them, but it's been over a month or two and I still hate timeline
