Have you tried some camomille tea? It always works for me. :pipe:

Kizzy 23-05-2012 09:32 AM

Marc 23-05-2012 10:45 AM

LOL brandy does the job

MTVN 23-05-2012 10:47 AM

Yeah this is terrible, and then I start to panic as it gradually gets nearer to the time I'm gonna have to be up and I realise I'm only gonna get a couple hours sleep

Niamh. 23-05-2012 10:48 AM

It doesn't happen to me much, I love sleep and my bed so much, If I can't get to sleep I just tell myself that the longer I'm awake, the longer I can enjoy being in bed.........I usually fall asleep about 3 seconds after I think this though

Marc 23-05-2012 10:48 AM

3 seconds?! Wow. It usually takes me ages to get to bed.

Marsh. 23-05-2012 11:04 AM

Usually happens to me when I'm stressed about something. No matter how hard I try I can't switch my brain off, and stop the thoughts going round and round of how much work I have to do or whatever.

Josy 23-05-2012 11:06 AM

Always happens to me when I know I need to be up really early for something.

Kate! 23-05-2012 11:28 AM

Nightly occurrence for me, just can't switch off.

- note to self....try Kizzy's brandy tip  -

Camomille and brandy! Always works!

Marc 23-05-2012 11:51 AM

Happens to me when I've had too much caffeine in the day!

InOne 23-05-2012 12:06 PM

Listen to the radio, always helps

Black Dagger 23-05-2012 12:38 PM

It usually takes me a good half an hour/hour to finally have noise shut off and be asleep.

I'd love it if I could just put my head to my pillows and be dead for the night.

Jords 23-05-2012 01:29 PM

Laptop usually back out before 1:40 tbh
