Ed Sheeran & Maroon 5 -Final-
 

British singer Ed Sheeran and US group Maroon 5 have been confirmed as the special guests for The Voice UK 2012 final.


The pair will be the final two acts to sing on the voice UK’s results show, as the first series of the BBC reality talent competition concludes.

Next weekend’s final will be live on the Saturday night, with the results announced that evening rather than a Sunday pre-recorded results show.

US group Maroon 5 will be flying in especially for the show, and no doubt front man Adam Levine – a coach on the American version of The Voice – will be able to offer some tips to both the singers and coaches.

Danny O’Donoghue teased: “For the final we have someone fantastic. Let’s just say one of the coaches made a magic phone call and moved heaven and earth for a very special star to come on.”

This weekend’s results show will see Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue both performing, as the final four artists are revealed.

is the surprise refering to someone other than Ed or M5?

I saw Maroon 5's appearance coming - they have a new single to promote and Adam's obviously a coach on the US version so it was a no-brainer :D

Actually Jessie was on a US results show and she sang Domino with one of the teams performing backup and they mentioned she was a UK coach.

So it's two versions helping each other out.

I'm thinking the surprise is Justin Beiber. Here's why, When he showed up to show a sneak peek of The Boyfriend Video on the US. Justin was talking to Adam about a supergroup thingie as he showed up and I imagine that Will.I.Am and Jessie J are friends with Adam who can easily get the help of someone, probably Beiber.

(That night it was announced that the first live performance of Boyfriend would be at the finale of the US version)

Both hugely overrated.

Nope, they're on a break and they have nothing to promote. will.i.am has a new single out soon though, he could be performing.

You'd have thought they'd have saved Cheryl and Kylie for the final over these two. Strange.

Ed Sheeran is massive and M5 have connections with the voice, so it's no surprise. I love them both, so I'm chuffed :D
