The X Factor USA 2012- The First Day [Britney is okay, Still No Host]
Okay the X Factor USA auditions have started in Austin Here's what I know.
-In the first session of the day, all the judges were introduced. Britney wasn't the last to arrive (Simon was, possibly signing the contracts of the hosts) but was introduced last and got a standing ovation. -Demi and Simon sent friendly banter back and forth like Demi called Simon "Gramps." in example. -Demi did give out some decent comments about the contestants, Brit is basically Paula on steroids right now. But I'm thinking the producers are probably telling the two to be themselves. -As far I know, There's still no host, unless they're signed and they're waiting to announce it at a later date. -Brit did leave the stage, as reported by TMZ, after someone slaughtered one of her songs. She didn't return for the first session (there was 4 acts remaining, only 1 went through) but returned for the second, claims she was taking a break. -They passed a bunch of acts overall and there was a few, but not alot of ties that weren't passed, there wasn't alot of Overs 30s as well. Here's a report but it's really slow. http://www.mix947.com/X-Factor-Austi...852?pid=242316 Most of the stuff that I posted can be found on Survivor Sucks http://survivorsucks.com/topic/91434...5#.T7-4etUV23E |
Britney sounding like she's going to be fun already. Still an amazing signing.
I read somewhere they're not having hosts until the live shows? Seems very odd to me. |
I worry about her. She's just recovering from a breakdown. Will she be strong enough for this?
|
Very misleading title, Britney did not storm off the set. She simply took a break and returned shortly after. The press are hounding her already.

Everyone at the auditions has been saying Britney's been amazing and very talkative and constructive. Also - this one creepy old guy came on and she told him "I wanna know who let you on stage, I feel uncomfortable with you even just staring at me..." hahaha
|
Good that she's showing more of a personality than she does in interviews. This may be help recover her reputation/credibility slightly.

The judges at the table. (Demi's sitting in Nicole's spot and Brit is in Paula's spot seems fitting) Also I had a feeling this would happen. I'm hearing that Demi is stealing the show right from under Britney by annoying Simon. From the Rolling Stone Article: While Cowell talked to Spears off microphone between many of the performances and asked her to lead off critiques several times in an apparent attempt to draw her into exchanges, the 19-year-old Lovato needed no such prodding. Playfully flirting with male contestants ("she is single now" became a common refrain from Cowell) and giving insightful comments at every chance, the teen star drew laughs and cheers from the crowd, along with several stunned, open-mouth stares from Cowell as the two verbally sparred. It was those times when the interaction between the contestants and the judges produced the types of moments that show executives hope will increase ratings following the ouster of first-year judges Cheryl Cole, Nicole Scherzinger and former Idol judge Paula Abdul. Take the moment when Cowell, 52, admitted to taking a liking to a charismatic 22 year-old contestant, who returned his affection. "It's too bad we didn't meet 10 years from now," Cowell said with a wink before Lovato drily countered, "More like 30 years." Startled and momentarily silenced, Cowell responded, "Demi, you're going into the naughty chair." It was the first of at least three such utterances on the day that Cowell lobbed at Lovato, suggesting viewers and audiences can expect many more charged jabs between the two this season." |
Apparently Britney told one contestant “I wanna know who let you on stage. I feel uncomfortable with you even stairing at me.”

I'd sing all of Britney's albums for a chance for her to say yes :amazed: |
If she did storm off for that I think she had every right to do that. I know it may seem egotistical but it's her work that they're butchering.
Also they were recording in Austin again yesterday. The person reporting said that they won't be surprised if Demi becomes America's Favorite Judge. She was honest and gave out good criticisms even if she did ramble on for too long sometimes. And Brit was more relaxed on the second day. Like Actually giving out criticism and was funny as well. She did leave early in the first session of the day again but the session was ending with two acts to go Also Do not be surprised if they make an American One Direction at boot camp. I'm hearing in Austin, they passed a bunch of young boys. Still no host. They're moving onto the next location and the next auditions are June 8th and 9th in Kansas City, MO. I wish I didn't have summer college then maybe I could see it Other Cities remaining San Francisco June 16-18 Providence, Rhode Island June 27-29 Greensboro, North Carolina July 8 and 9 |

Also The real reason why Britney left early during the audition session. She has ADHD and cannot take medicine for it because it would react with the other medicine. We'll probably hear it a little bit during the show |
How can they not have a host yet :suspect:
are they only having one for the live shows or s/t? |
