Smarties or M&Ms?

Both fairly similar but which do you prefer? For me it's M&Ms, I think they taste slightly better.

Hate the taste of Smarties... most Nestle chocolate actually. Has a very dry and bland taste.

GypsyGoth 28-05-2012 02:03 AM

I think M&Ms now, but I used to prefer Smarties.

Like Shaun, I'm not keen on Nestle chocolate: for me it has that 'cheap waxy' taste. Not nice.

M&Ms all the way.

Can't beat a packet of smarties

joeysteele 28-05-2012 06:30 AM

M&Ms over Smarties. as a little lad I used to play with smarties as like counters instead of eating them.

lostalex 28-05-2012 06:33 AM

M&M's are the original. Love them.

I prefer Reese's Pieces to both though.

smarties are nazi bullsheet!

Smarties are like the store brand "puffed cheese sticks" next to the real CHEETOS.

Wow! I didn't realise either had been around so long, especially M&M's, thought they were fairly newish sweets.

maybe in europe, nestle stole the idea from the US before American Mars company brought it to europe. The candy coating was originally developed by NASA i believe.

The truth about NASA's secret involvement with the candy coating technology will be revealed in Wikileaks later this year.
