Anyone got anything special planned for the extended Weekend Celebrations?

Same old same old for me really, not a fan of bank holidays really anyway. Unless you've got.plenty money to splash, there's sod all to do.

I'm going to a jubilee street party on Sunday afternoon which should be something different, then onto a bbq at my local pub. :)

It's all pointless, The Queen is irrelevant, no plans needed.

Our village did a garden golf tournament for the wedding last year where a few houses turn their gardens into golf holes for the day and we're doing it again for this jubilee on Monday, coming home from Uni on saturday and playing cricket on sunday as well so should be a good weekend

I'll probably drunkenly toast the Queen whilst simultaneously wincing at the slap tards who take their patriotism to the level of all consuming hobby.

Sounds like a good day you have planned there.

I do personally agree with Patrick on this as I'm anti royal and although I do like Will and Kate as people, the rest can boil their heads.

I'm not a royalist... far from it, but I do like to get involved in the nice party atmosphere etc. :)

When is the actual Jubilee thing? Monday?

I am not doing nothing special but my antie has invted me to her street party.

Tuesday I think Joe.. Monday is the June bank holiday

I love bank holidays, I love the atmosphere and I love when special events are on i.e the jubilee :)

I especially love that Tuesday is a day off too :D

Monday's the Jubilee Concert by the BBC and Gary Barlow isn't it? Think it all starts on Sunday.

I'm trying to persuade my mum to take us down to London this weekend. I wanna see the Olympic stadium/site, go to the new Westfield in Stratford and see some of the Jubilee stuff.

A Tuesday launch is just tremendous! I dont work or have to do anything on a Tuesday night! Woo!

Downside is I'm off on holiday on Thursday so I'll miss the first two weeks! :(

Will the highstreet shops be open on the Monday. This is urgent.

some of them might, but I'd imagine the majority will be shut Harry.

Yeah! And we have a super extended one! The schools are off here Monday Tuesday and Wednesday then we're off to Turkey on Thursday for a fortnight!
