'EastEnders' fans expect Kat, Jack affair
 

EastEnders businessman Jack Branning has emerged as the early favourite to become Kat Moon's new lover in the soap's upcoming infidelity storyline.

Show bosses yesterday (June 6) announced that Kat will succumb to temptation by cheating on husband Alfie once again this summer, sparking a long-running storyline. However, viewers will be left in the dark over who her secret boyfriend is for quite some time.

Jack, Derek, Max, Michael and Ray have been announced as the five main possibilities.

I agree that it's a terrible storyline. Seriously, as I said in the episode discussion thread, I'm sure we had all this last year. Why put it on repeat again?

I think they're trying to emulate the Dirty Den and Michelle storyline. Didn't that affair have a "Who Bonked Michelle?".

I love Alfie as a character...but Kat, no. It's like she's over stayed her welcome on the show.
