This could be interesting. I didn't no it until today. But Imagine all those 4,000 people behind the judges that were expecting Simon.

Don't really know much about her but Demi is setting herself up nicely as an easy 9/10

I think they will. I know someone on twitter that went to the auditions yesterday and he has two acts that could win

A 12 Year Old Girl
A 16 Year Old Girl

I saw somewhere else that the 3 judges were fun to watch...other than Britney.

I kinda feel sorry for Louis. He had to fly to America after getting done with Manchester stay in Kansas City for 48 hours and then fly back to the UK for another X Factor Location

Sorry but he gets paid hundreds of thousands of pounds to sit there and judge people for a living, I do NOT feel sorry for him. Plus he flew in Simon's private jet, not like he had to fly economy on Virgin Atlantic. I don't see him complaining.

Is Louis well known at all in the USA?

I don't think so. But I think on the show they'll say

"For Kansas City, Bronchitis kept Simon at bay. So he called up Louis, a good friend and X Factor UK judge and flew him out to KC in judge in his place with LA, Demi, and Britney."

Actually a lot of people were asking for his autograph and wanted to speak to him at the auditions. Probably One Direction fans who've seen him on YouTube. He is more well known than Cheryl Cole was, anyway.

you're probably right. I mean people were probably looking up clips of XFUK just to get a feel of what XFUSA could be.

Though even when the show was about to start and I'm sure it's going to happen again this year people were asking "WTF is X Factor?" here in America.

Mystic Mock 10-06-2012 08:43 PM

Simon doesn't want to be associated with a dead show I see.

actually he has Bronchitis and the US version did well in the first season. (9-12 million an ep, though Simon expected 20 million an ep)

I expect the show to get 16 million an ep this year because of Brit and the fact American Idol is becoming tired with the same kind of winner over and over.

Probably but I really think this year it will be a hit. I mean how can it not be with two A-listers who have millions of fans around the world as the new judges!? I can see it easily beating The Voice when they go head to head and it may even get ratings only the likes of Idol have seen before. I would go as far as to say that Britney Spears is the biggest name ever to become a judge on one of these types of shows, she will bring in the viewers.

:nono: The Voice is also going to be on at the same time as XF. I think both will benefit from idol's fails and also it's Xtina vs Britney round whatever (She's a coach on the US version along with Maroon 5's lead singer,Ceelo Green, and a country singer) Though The Voice only gets 12 million an ep, it's on NBC and it's the biggest show on NBC. It's either that or they're going to both fall flat on their faces.

Also in America people are getting tired of predictable singing shows which Idol has become because of the same type of guy winning every year, which is why Idol suffered last year, because The Voice was unpredictable and some thought it had better talent.

There are people who are tired of singing competitions too as well and that's growing because people think that The Voice and X Factor are just lame ripoffs of Idol (in fact Idol's creator sued X Factor which is why it took til now to get XFUSA up and running.)

Idol this year admitted that one of the reasons why the ratings were down was because of The Voice.

Also Simon has had proposed a ultimate singoff between the winners of Idol, The Voice, and X Factor. I think they should, they could raise alot of money for charity because people would eat it up like pie.

I think because the voice is on NBC. It doesn't get the ratings it deserves, because NBC is in the cellar of American networks.

The Voice was also on as the same time as US SCD which kind of limited the ratings of The Voice since Dancing's a hit show.

BBfanUSA 13-06-2012 02:24 AM

Yeah, I think she'll be a little like Paula. But I can tolerate it

And when you say it'll top Idol's ratings...Season 4 and 5 got 30 million viewers on average. There is no way in hell they can reach that.

I think the viewers will be 16-18 million on Average and 24 million for the final this year.

BBfanUSA 19-09-2012 02:39 PM

...they're showing Kansas City this week.

I think Louis will be on tonight's show. There was a clip of Britney singing Happy Birthday to LA Reid and Louis was there as well.
