struggling to know the housemates
 

After four days I feel like I just don't know enough about the housemates to keep me interested. I nearly didn't bother watching the eviction last night because I knew we'd see about five minutes of highlight and instead be given an hour of annoying celebrities and Jamie East asking nonsense questions on BBBOTS. Without LF it's just so hard to really know who they are, the show seems to be passing us by and it's so complicated and full of adverts trying to catch up on Facebook and youtube.

For the 2011 series I suppose not having it was a bit of a novelty but now the loss of it is ruining the program for me. Does anyone else find this happening? I'll probably still watch though

Aaron was the numpty in the onesie as his eviction night outfit....regrets he will have a few...

I agree. This has the potential to be a great series, dampened only by the live feed issue which C5 can't seem to understand.

The highlight shows have focused too much on Luke telling people his secret.

Now that he has told them all, maybe they will focus on other people like Sara and Scott who have had no airtime at all. However lets be honest the next few highlights will focus on Josies clone Becky :(

I'm the same, I still don't even know some of their names. On bots last night they were talking about 'Chris' and I couldnt for the life of me think who it was :conf:

But yeah theres lots of fillers in the house this year, we need to get them out.

Im finding it hard work this year too, it could be as i dont like 90% of hm8s, and some of them (Caroline,Ashleigh,Arron,Conor,Benedict,Luke S,Deana,Lydia,Shievonne)are really getting on my nerves ,Adam,Sara,Chris, i cant take but not a fan,Only like Luke A and now Becca

maybe LF just costs too much for them to bother with idk.

Thank god luke A has got his secret out, now we might see a bit more of the other housemates?

I feel the same way. I think too many housemates is the problem. Not enough time to show 16 different people in one hour every night.

Hopefully it'll get better as more are evicted.

Agree, we need to see more of Scott, Sara and Adam, all three are underused

I think another problem this year is ,most of the hm8s are similar,no one stands out as being different, apart from Luke A because of his past ,and now Becca because shes not like all the other girls, not much personality this year ,more of the same old hm8s rehashed

Yep, and shivonne, I have a feeling caroline, scott and adam will adopt becca though.

I'd like to see more of Shievonne, Sara and Scott, and in fact Adam hasn't been given much airtime either. These are the main ones I feel I know next to nothing about and all are interesting, so come on BB, show us more.

I just wonder how much posing in front of cameras some of them do, and now that there's no LF, nobody even sees it apart from the cameraman :laugh:

We're four days , I know all the names, but I couldn't say who are my favourites as we haven't seen enough of any of them to make a proper judgement imo, I can only go on what I have seen so far, once again the GBH have kicked out the wrong person, judging by last nights HLs Victoria would have done anything for airtime, she had already given us salad gate, "accidentally" dropped her towel and royally got up Desperate Dan's nose by sleeping topless, she was also annoying lots of people by saying she wanted to walk, she didnt particularly get on with anyone other than Lydia, and those two given time could have become a formiidable duo, though would have been up for eviction every week...anyway what do we do...we keep in the beefcake with the tats, who is pretty much unintelligable at the best of times (by the way I'm Irish and Im struggling with his accent, so no racism involved!), so well done public, every year they vote out the characters who would create the most upset. :conf: lets hope it was worth keeping in Desperate Dan and he begins to come out of his shell, maybe do his party piece that he was banging on about before he went in.:sleep:

Yeah I don't feel that interested in any of them yet really, seem to remember having a couple of standout favourites after the first couple of days last year but this series I haven't got any

I have managed to get to know their names and a little about them, so on that things are much the same for me but this set of housemates is the first set whereby I like a lot of them and have no clear favourite as yet, at least for effort though, Arron has been the first to take on one of the other more boring and whining housemates yesterday.

Any of around 10 of them could win it for me on these first few days showing whereas I usually have only about 3 I really like by now.

There are 2 I really do not care for at all ans so like most years on that one, I have the people I would like to be out in future weeks,namely Lydia and Chris.

I say lets give it another week, let the novelty wear off, give BB time to start messing with them, and then see whats whats. Works for me!

I say lydia and chris for the boot too , just read scott loves shooting and wants to go to africa for some trophies?...If thats right he can get lost too :(

We have not had the chance to get to know them because we are not seeing much are we.
So far much of the shows have been about Luke A telling everybody he was born a female..... Although he probably went about it the right way by telling a few at a time....we all had to watch everyones reaction and now its been told to every housemate I bet we wont hear much from him.

Most of them I've hardly seen or heard, so can only judge on what I've seen. Difficult to judge 16 housemates with just three days of ****y edited highlights. Always think the first round of nominations says a lot and I am really looking foward to see who nominates who first and their reasons.:):devil: Then there is the eviction annoncement and how they all react after.:D

I have to be honest, I keep getting mixed up between Luke S & Arron:blush:

It always takes a couple of weeks for me to get a grip of their personalities and to know more about them. Once I have seen a few more episodes then I will gradually get into it more.

I actually prefer it further down the line, when there are less HM's in there, and more time is devoted to each of them. That's when it gets more interesting for me. If they have interesting personalities of course...
