Andy Scott-Lee's fanbase 'saved Lydia Louisa from Big Brother eviction'
Big Brother contestant Lydia Louisa has made no secret that she is engaged to Andy Scott-Lee and it seems the former pop star himself isn't scared to call in a few connections himself, as fans of the Channel 5 show accuse him of using his 'fanbase' to save Lydia from eviction.
Lydia had been the odds-on favourite to be evicted from the Big Brother house in what was the first eviction of the 2012 series last night, but in the event, Victoria Eisermann was voted out instead. Now Big Brother fans are questioning whether Lydia was only saved by the public vote because her fiancé Andy Scott-Lee had been asking his followers on Twitter to pick up the phone and vote for her stay in the house. Telling people he wanted Lydia to survive the first eviction and 'prove the haters wrong', Andy repeatedly implored his fans to vote to save her. In one tweet, he wrote: 'Please help save Lydia. You can do this by calling the following: Landline: 0901 616 1711 Mobile: 65 0581 1 Thank you for all your support x'. And it seemed his messages did the trick, as Lydia escaped eviction and as such, remains in the house, despite rubbing some of her fellow contestants the wrong way. Tweeting with a noticeably sarcastic tone, one observer wrote: 'Instead boring Victoria got the boot. I suppose the fanbase of Lydia's (semi) famous fiance, Andy Scott-Lee, voted to keep her in.' Another added: 'Lydia is saved thanks to Andy Scott-Lee and his massive fanbase #BBUK'. After Lydia was saved in the public vote, Andy told her: 'Yes im so happy for her. She's her own person and deserves to be there. Thanks for your support x'. Andy is now using Twitter to defend Lydia's reputation, as some Big Brother viewers user the social media site to call Lydia names like 'wh***', a 'joke' and 'a 'stroppy cow'. When one fan tweeted Andy calling Lydia a 'psycho', he replied: 'thanks but she's not. She's in an environment that is completely out of the norm & now she survived I hope you'll see she's cool!' Andy Scott Lee's "fanbase"? What, did they all get together in the same phonebox and take it in turns to call?

Those all important Millions of ASL fans

What makes me laugh more than the suggestion that he has a "fanbase" is them describing him as a former "popstar". Star? You sure?
Actually something just made me laugh more. I typed in "Andy Scott Lee" into 'search' in the iTunes store, and the one track it came up with was "Unforgettable". Ironic, really. |
Don't forget Lisa.

"The group's first single, "Take It Easy", reached No.11 in the UK Singles Chart in April 2002.[1] Their follow-up single, "Touch Me Tease Me", reached number 16,[1] and the band was subsequently dropped by the record label, Sony, leaving their self-titled debut album unreleased." I don't remember them at all? |
