Conor's reaction to Benedict's sexuality.

I like Conor, but his reaction to Benedict saying he was 'open to all genders' and was a human, was abit worrying.

His face was ******ing brilliant in the hot tub when Benedict basically said about liking Men or something, he was like ' Are you Bisexual? WHAT.' It was just so uncomfortable and awkward to watch, Jesus Christ.

Connor is definitely a redneck.

alex_front2 18-06-2012 11:32 AM

I noticed how his eyes widened in horror.

Conor on his BB application said that he got loads of attention from gay guys. I think that was BS (a bit like Harry last year) to conceal attitude.

Conor is thick but he's savvy enough not to say anything too unPC.

Niamh. 18-06-2012 11:33 AM

lol I don't think he fully understood what he meant but yeah he did give off the impression that he wasn't comfortable with him being gay or bisexual

Kizzy 18-06-2012 11:35 AM

It was hilare.... :)

fruit_cake 18-06-2012 11:39 AM

his reaction made the situation very uncomfortable, even though he tried to be polite

Cherie 18-06-2012 11:43 AM

The best bit was at the end of the clip, Conor gave Benedict a wink as if to say...Im the only one who is getting this, when he clearly had his chin on the floor..:joker:

It was great, Conor is getting better as the days go by

thesheriff443 18-06-2012 12:03 PM

it was funny cant see connor shareing a shower with ben anytime soon.

Jase. 18-06-2012 12:12 PM

Ben's awkward response to Conor was also priceless :D

BJ 18-06-2012 12:17 PM

I can't stand either but Benedict annoys me more with his patronising response to any question he's asked.

fruit_cake 18-06-2012 12:21 PM

Ben does seem to speak through his nostrils a bit, but I generally agree with what he says.

alex_front2 18-06-2012 12:41 PM

Conor is a twonk and an oaf. Next.

DanielLuis 18-06-2012 01:30 PM

Conor might be a bit homophobic...7
But then again Benedict clearly is Bi he just doesnt want to use that word and as such he talks loads of gibberish which made Conor be like...okay you're bi I get it lol

LemonJam 18-06-2012 01:38 PM

I think he was suprised, not homophobic.

BigBrotherfan4ever 18-06-2012 01:39 PM

Conor look really unfortable, to what Ben response was.

Petershaw1984 18-06-2012 01:42 PM

This. I don't like Conor at all, but he's no homophobe. If he was, surely he'd have nominated Scott last week? Plus, I've seen him saying nice things about Scott.

It was purely because he's known Benedict to be completely straight up until then.

TomXe 19-06-2012 01:37 AM

benedict reacted to that in the completely wrong way

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 19-06-2012 01:40 AM

prick

iRyan 19-06-2012 01:40 AM

Conor is an ignorant mong

lou22 19-06-2012 02:32 AM

I think Conor was just shocked that Benedict could be Bi, as he appears to be completely straight. I don't think he is homophobic.

canucksgirl 19-06-2012 02:35 AM

I wouldn't quickly call someone homophobic without a clear indication. He just seemed surprised. I don't think he showed any signs of dislike.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 19-06-2012 02:58 AM

he spat in his chickpeas

In days gone by being gay was a sin, well to my generation anyway. Most straight people thought gays were some kind of genetically modified loners with mental issues and they were wrongly hounded and bullied for their gender preferances.

Nowadays it would apear by reading some of these posts, that being straight and offering strong views like Connor did, is somehow wrong. Dont get me wrong I am not saying either is wrong but if it is ok for one gender to speak about their views, is it therefore not also right for the same luxury to be afforded to the other side, whichever it might be.

Political correctness runs both ways and I can understand Connor. He is Irish as I am and we were raised differently in the country. Big cities like Derry, belfast, cork and Dublin have their gay scenes but small villages, especially in Ulster, are still predominantly hetrosexually run and havent yet caught up with the rest of cosmopolitania. I dont think we should lampoon connor for his views the same as we shouldnt lampoon Scott or Luke A for theirs.

I find the shock horror gasp and wtf comments about a seemingly straight males attitude to homosexuality rather underwelming and condecending but thats my opinion only and not designed to rile or impune anyone for their views.
