They ran a poll on Bots to see if we wanted the rule to discuss nominations changed back to how it used to be and 80 odd % said they wanted it changed back and it was.

Emma just felt the need to make an announcement on Bots about live feed returning aswell even if its only 1 hour she addressed the fans and actually acknowledged how much we want it.

Do you think that its due to the last 3 or 4 days highlights shows ratings dropping?

Seems like Channel 5 may be listening.

Dunno if the ratings are dropping the activity on this forum definitely is. Especially the last 2 days

I think they've just kinda realised that they've got everything they could out of allowing nom talk and it's run its course now

Ratings have dropped only by around 150k from last week. I think it's more due to Chris going. But yeah, nice to see they did a poll for the nom talk, and then decided based on the results. Shame they can't give us the 24/7 feed.

It's clear that Emma didn't like the nom talking.

Yeah maybe.

On Bots though Emma hasnt been able to hide the fact that she was bored of nom talk and shes supposed to be impartial? Even just now she said something along the lines of "Now i know you are all wanting live feed..." then told us about the live feed coming up in July.

Ive never seen Channel 5 actually address our requests on air.

Hmm watching on +1 so not seen that yet, she did it make it pretty clear she wasn't in favour of it last night though

The fact they didnt have LF at the start of the series just seems like they feel the need to do something now.

Why bring it back 4 weeks into the show?

24/7 live-feed for BB14 and then I'll be happy with what C5 have done. :pipe:

tbh, I have been anyway, bar them not giving us decent end of series highlights, some awful house-mates, no LF and shoving non-entity celebrities down our throats (Madsen and K&K were great though, and Gareth Thomas would have been good if he wasn't an utter bore) they've done alright.

Jamie East has done it several times. Them mentioning all the moaning about live feed isn't anything new.

there was crisis talks this morning.

No Jamie East just ripped the p!ss he didnt address it seriously.

That's probably what made them decide the 1 hr LF (which is annoying) and the nom discussion ban. Surely they must have spoken about other stuff.

He did take it more seriously this year though.

I am over the moon the noms talk is gone, a really good decision. I was also surprised but glad that 88% were against the talking about noms as well.

Did he ever bring it up without being prompted by fans or phone ins on Bots though?

Emma brought it up out of nowhere, like it was planned and put in her script to officially address it to "Fans".
