You know what I really miss about Big Brother?
 

Everyone has been going on since last Summer about what they miss about Channel 4's Big Brother.

And no one has ever mentioned this. You know what I really miss?

Remember at about Half 1 in the morning you'd be sitting up watching Live Feed or sometimes! Sometimes, even a movie on Channel 4 - and when it would be on a break...

You'd get something like the BB7 Graphics swirling about, then the theme tune would come on, and then Marcus Bentley back when he was good saying;

'The Big Brother House has spoken. Who goes? YOU DECIDE.'

'...And join Big Brother, for the live eviction. This Friday on Four.'

And whilst he was talking, it would show like the little clips of the nominated housemates walking into the house on launch night?

I remember seeing it alot during BB6 and BB7. :sad: They were the most amazing things. It just got you excited for the eviction and made it feel like such an event.

One time I was staying in my mate's house, and everyone there didn't even watch Big Brother - but we were channel hopping and that advert came on and I was just like 'See this is why you should watch Big Brother.' because just something as simple as that advert was enough to create some form of hype for the evicitons, Damn.

I wish I could find an example of one of these adverts on YouTube or something - but I'm sure someone will know what I mean.

YES I used to love those adverts so much :sad: Finally someone has brought them up. It gave such an atmosphere especially when the final was coming up and you'd get the advert all "Who wins? You decide....(clips of the finalists walking into the house with the voting numbers)"

I used to record the final ones on my phone, I might have them somewhere I could try posting them

I brought this up somewhere in the last week! They used to be amazing, I remember they used to always be on during The Simpsons! The graphics, The Enterances, The Theme Tune :love:

I do like the HMs on different coloured backgrounds this series but itd be cool to have a vid.

Makes sense - the sexy girl voice did the BB7 Countdowns too.

Ch5 are putting on a cheaper version of an old theme. They have employed a bunch of kids whos sole purpose in life is to get on the tv every week. You never saw the Ch4 production team do that. I find it appauling that the producer is using the program he produces as his own personal dating site. What a plonker. I Know Emma is running that angle but she would need his permission to run with it and when she suggested it to him he gave an oscar winning performance acting so surprised. There is no adlibbing on this show because it goes out live and everythingneeds to be sanctified first, BY THE PRODUCER.
