Big brother Sinks to a All-Time New Low!!
I Know theres A Raitings Thread But i thought This Needs A Thread On its Own Since Its Kind of Importance, 775K Watched the Show last night, Making it one of The least Ever Watched Show of All time.
What went Wrong? |
One word. Football.
|
I'm not shocked to read that, the best characters have been voted out.

Big Brother getting decent ratings the same night England has a quarterfinal match is never going to happen. It really is no reflection on the show, its just priorities.
Being from Canada, its the same with hockey. The country literally goes on hold for the game. |
Ashleigh's B-day turned into the Ashleigh show. Stopped watching for all that... snore
|
Football
Its OK though it was the worst ep of the series. |
872k incl +1.
Had the smallest % drop out of everything facing footie. Emmerdale was below 5m. ITV got around 1.8m. It will recover tonight. What went wrong? Nothing with BB. More like the footie getting 23.2m the highest thing since 2004 Portugal VS England penalty shootout. |
I'm not the least bit surprised that BB got really bad ratings lastnight cause of the football, but what i find even odder why C5 didnt for one night put it on at the later time of 10 cause at the end of the day it starts at 10 most other nights anyway.:conf:
|
My channel 5 mysteriously disappeared last night..... :suspect:
|
Football, obviously. Jesus.
|
I think it was an all time low cancelling discussing nominations when they did.
If they weren't to be allowed it should have been from the beginning. But to cancel them just as the good side were forming bonds and working out who they'd collectively vote for, and BB must have seen that happening, they cancelled the right to discuss. Caroline's bitches were already set up and had bonded ages before and they knew who to vote for so cancelling then was an all time low in my opinion and gave a clear advantage which BB must have known it would to Caroline and her bitches. |
Just check the ratings thread and look at the officials ;)
Shows have been adding half a million on timeshift bringing a few shows to almost 2m. One rating was actually 1.92m EXCLUDING +1 on the last Thursday (day before Chris's eviction). So will be at 2m+ with +1. So last night could add 500k+ to it. |
I'll tell you what's sank to an all-time new low - the stupidity of the threads that are made on here, cherry picking the bits that they want to give across and painting a picture of the already broken up story that a 3-year-old could draw.
You know fully well that the football was on, which obviously had a massive effect on everything that clashed with it. It's not exactly rocket science, is it? Get your facts right before you start posting misleading nonsense. |

What a Stupid Post England playing Italy So that amount is good. |
Obviously as in the case that the football match between England and Italy scored 20+ million viewers, BB and other programmes had no chance last night at all.
Especially with the match on a knife edge all the way through, 0-0 all the way as to 90 minutes of play, 0-0 even after extra time. No way were people going to leave that match for BB or anything else likely. |
I was just about to post these lot in the Euro 2012 ratings thread but I may as well post them here as well:
England's devastating Euro 2012 exit was seen by over 23 million viewers last night (Sunday, June 24)), overnight data shows. Coverage of the quarter-final between England and Italy averaged 17.37m (62.3%) for BBC One between 7pm and 10.45pm, peaking with 23.2m (77.4%) for the penalty shoot-out. Whoever appears to labour to understand the above is either taking the piss or genuinely ignorant and oblivious to the rudiments of how viewing figures work. Interest in the football affected the other terrestrial channels, as Channel 5's Once Upon a Time (776k/2.5%) and Big Brother (775k/2.5%) both sunk to all-time lows. It amazes me how ill-informed and ridiculous people can be - it's staggering. Then again, I have a feeling this thread was just done for attention. |
