BB need to stop the crowd noise!
When Brian makes the eviction announcements because it would stop the housemates knowing that certain housemates are popular on unpopular outside.
I see that there has been some more nominations talk which BB has not punished the culprits for, pathetic although most of the housemates heard chants for get Lydia out last week and some of them were certain they heard the same chants regarding Deana too... |
Didn't Davina one year announce the eviction results in the studio? To prevent crowd chants influencing nominations? I cant remember what year. Maybe 2008?
|
People have been saying that for a few years, but nothing ever gets done about it. They just pander to the worst type of people in the audience.
|
No way !!! I love the chants !!!
|
Yeah it really isn't fair.

The housemates need to stop being ****ing sheep. Conor basically admitted he was voting Deana and Lydia because he heard the crowd.

Love it, too. Good or bad, it gives people insight on the backstabbers. This has been a part of BB for the longest time, so if the HMs were smart, they'd make sure they don't make themselves unlikeable with the public. You can be a likeable game-player. |

Obviously the most famous incident of crowd chanting was the first "Get Grace out!" night in BB7 when Sam was evicted and Susie went in. I absolutely LOVED the moment the housemates were in the garden about to draw the golden ticket winner and they all shut up for 5 seconds, and they could clearly hear the crowd chanting. That realization shifted the house dynamics completely and that's one moment I can watch over and over again. In that sense I sometimes love the crowd chants.
...But then Susie nominated Grace, mostly because the crowd was screaming "GET GRACE OUT" as she went in, and then BB7 lost one of its best housemates just a month in. So I guess I'm of two minds. I love the housemates getting shocked by who's cheered or booed, but I don't like how it influences the outcome of the series. |

I hate the mindless jeering and chanting.
A few years back it was a 50/50, but now it just seems to be a constant braying. Imagine if you were walking through a shopping mall and there were a bunch people, aging between 20 to 40 years old, booing and jeering a 20 year old girl, simply because she was upset. You’d be horrified. We all have our favourites and we all have HM’s that we don’t particularly like. But overall none of these people have done much to deserve that level of vitriol. They have laughed, played, bitched and fought. Yet come a Friday evening they have a mob outside calling for blood. It’s a case of unacceptable behaviour being let off the hook for an hour or two. |

They even did it in the studio from Bb1-4 back when the crowd was sane.
