Do You Think They Aimed For This Cast?

As in do you think they casted the HM's this year thinking they would argue/be divided?

alex_front2 27-06-2012 08:37 AM

100%.

They knew 100% what Conor /Jay last year were like. They see potential in auditions.
If someone has inkling of thuggery racism snobbism arrogance in auditions they get through to next round. Loads of modrls would have tried out.Why Arron? Because he had that arrogant bullying obnoxuoius edge.

I think there has always been 1 or 2 Housemates who the producers regret putting in their to be honest. It's hard to tell whether they'll argue or disagree on things.

I think if they bring a prisoner (Adam) that was so obvious what they want !!

Kizzy 27-06-2012 08:51 AM

Totally, this year I'm certain they were chosen as they are all on the periphery of insanity haha.

alex_front2 27-06-2012 08:51 AM

If someone audutions and they display a certain negative characteristic but not too much - just a hint - eg homophobia or arrogance they may make short cut

Too many niceys - BB4

Yes, I think they did find the right combination and intended to do this. Well done casting. I can only hope they DO NOT bring in 'new housemates'. Hear that 5? You did it well. It ain't broke so don't try and 'fix it' with new HM.

Here is something you MIGHT find in some reality show auditions now:
- You know they start asking people all these thing they might have to do.
What about heights?
- What if you're asked to wear a bikini all day?
- Any problems if there is a mud-wrestling task?

As a rule, eager participants will not only say 'Yes!' but want to make clear they are UP FOR ANYTHING! In fact, they are they type who will take on ANY challenge.
Hmm.
But there are applicants who will complain. "Uh.. I might wear a swimsuit but i am definitely NOT wearing a bikini!".
Others will 'draw lines'. negotiate. "Listen.. Im not eating no animal guts so you can forget that!".

Who do you think they might choose? Well I can tell you this. Some shows know exactly who has great potential. Its the ones who balked. Who got indignant at suggestions. Who made it clear what they will NOT tolerate doing. Who had certain limits and were offended at the ideas of crossing them.
THESE are applicants who may very well find themselves where they WANT to see people with limits, touchy fences, guarded lines around themselves etc.

Whoever casted Big Brother 2005 - clearly casted this series too.

I thin k there's a good chance that they wanted to give an unfair advantage to Caroline's side anyway because of cancelling the right to discuss as the the outsiders or good people were just getting together and starting to agree on who they'd vote for.

I'm not sure they planned the Luke S and Caroline groups being separate a little though. Though it's obvious they would always come together over the good people.

So are you saying they planned the mental torture of the good people too.Unfortunately I think they did too as well as deliberately giving an unfair advantage to nasty people by the timing of when they stopped the right to discuss nominations.
