Coughing remedies?
 

Does anybody have any really affective coughing remedies?

I've taken medicine, syrup, tablets, inhaler etc. but my hayfever has really been kicking my bum this past week or so, I woke up coughing this morning and I couldn't stop :(

Anybody have any nice old-wives-tale-remedies? :(

A spoon of honey

Suck on chocolate. Works best for bad throats but helps me with coughing too :laugh:

Honey and hot water is good.

Get someone to kick you really hard in the legs. You'll stop coughing. :laugh:

I get tonsilitus a lot and antibiotics dont work on me anymore and the best thing to get rid of the pain is having a coat of chocolate on the back of your throat...sounds odd but it really works.

Works on tickly coughs too...

Whisky is good for the throat.
