So is he hopeless with women?

Or reacting badly to being rejected ?
He does come over as hapless when trying to express his more complex feelings
:puzzled::shrug::sad:

rayheartbliss 01-07-2012 09:28 PM

yeah i think he fancies deana

and she is not even impressed with his looks that he is proud of
i think thats why he picks on her

if a girl doesnt like him, he'd make them out to be a drama queen or a bitch

cassieparis 01-07-2012 09:38 PM

:sad:He's making me sad. It's like he's in year 5.
I spotted the Deana thing but he got quite nasty with it.
He needs a coach. A flirting coach.
He wouldn't know flirt if it fell on him.:pat:

I actually think his "game" might not be that bad. I'm willing to bet him and Sara go out for drinks or something after the series. As much as I don't particularly care for him, he may actually be playing his cards right when it comes to that. He's been completely honest and hasn't played into anything...

but he also gets all shouty righteous angry and in need of much reassurance. :conf: and not very assertive more aggressive

MatthewS 01-07-2012 09:54 PM

Well, to be fair, he said he thinks shes alright and would like to get to know her after the show. That's a stand-up thing imo, doesn't want to do anything in the house and I can't blame him for that. But the girls have caught hold of it and won't drop the issue, it must get so annoying....

realitytvsux 01-07-2012 09:59 PM

I think his hopelessness with women stems from the fact that he doesn't actually like them very much.

What gay or straight and misogynistic. Not that the 2 are synonymous?!!

joeysteele 01-07-2012 10:12 PM

I think he is aware of the BB house and he doesn't wish to be involved with anyone in a too intense way on TV.
He may have some issues as to fearing rejection from women and dating but I could believe he does really deep down like and admire Deana now.
Like when he mentioned flowers and a girl, Deana jumped in to side with him.he has a lot going for him, I think he needs lots of re-assurances though which makes him seem awkward as to even talking about relationships.

Johnnyuk123 01-07-2012 10:13 PM

He wants man time with Conor!

DanielLuis 01-07-2012 10:41 PM

I really think he does fancy Deana....he's been flirting with her quite a lot hasnt he?

Yes, I do now think he does.It can be a very thin line between love and hate.

Thanks for this thread. I was looking for somewhere to post this realisation.

Arron looks like a complete douchebag from my school! :amazed: Shares the personality too. No wonder I dislike him, even though I have no beef with the guy from school.

Straight (probably) and misogynistic - he really seems to dislike women a lot

fitz2k2 01-07-2012 11:10 PM

this man will never get married

I think he's straight but frightened and full of bravado and shame.
I think that if he's lucky he will experience something profound that stops him believing looks are enough. Which will then encourage him to nourish and educate his depth.
When Arron feels vulnerable -as in wanting to be liked- he gets angry

Scotty07 02-07-2012 02:34 AM

Looked seriously pissed with Sara not throwing herself at him.:joker: Don't find her attractive personally, so funny that he's that bothered.:joker:

rinkydinkpanther 02-07-2012 02:37 AM

i dont think is he bothered really, its just some nonsense to fill his time

Colbert-Bump 02-07-2012 02:40 AM

Arron is bored, you can tell Caroline wants him.

rinkydinkpanther 02-07-2012 02:42 AM

Yep Caroline definetely fancies him imo. She remains reticent - none of her trademark snarky comments -and has a look of pain whenever Arron attempts to chat up Sara.

Munchkins 02-07-2012 06:44 AM

He's absolutely terrible with women ;L

Cherie 02-07-2012 06:58 AM

I think Arron just doenst want to go down the route of a romance in the house, I dont think he fancies Sarah, in fact I dont think he fancies anyone, though I can see him perhaps getting closer to Deana if Shrek were to exit the building. Luke S was just being bitchy and was a bit annoyed as they had taken the piss out of him during his picnic, he thought everyone would be in awe of his romantic gesture, and instead, Shrek, Arron and Caroline were taking the pee (very funny singing), he couldnt start on Shrek or Caroline so took the easy target.
