Legend killer 03-07-2012 10:54 AM

INTERESTING

MTVN 03-07-2012 10:55 AM

Great news for Spurs

Locke. 03-07-2012 11:08 AM

Hopefully he takes a long time to settle in

Marc 03-07-2012 11:09 AM

Hopefully not :pipe:

Good and I like him:), shame he was treated like crap by the big egos at Chelsea FC just because he did not suck up to 2 certain players.

Jayson 03-07-2012 11:53 AM

He'll flop just like he did at Chelsea.

+ why would a load of rich people waste their money buying a club that everyone in the country bar about 300,000 people hate? :P

Locke. 03-07-2012 11:55 AM

He had a higher Win % at Chelsea than Di Matteo, unbelievably. He'll do well at Spurs if he can keep hold of Modric, VDV, etc

GiRTh 03-07-2012 11:56 AM

Nightmare appointment. The players will rebel.

Jayson 03-07-2012 12:06 PM

Di Matteo won the games that mattered.

Jayson 03-07-2012 12:08 PM

+ Modric is basically out the door already. Spurs need to sign a top striker if they're going to do well this season, but everyone will be reluctant to go to a club that A) doesn't have Champions League football, and B) is managed by AVB, who has the worst reputation in football at the moment.

Locke. 03-07-2012 12:12 PM

Hopefully you're right :pipe:

Jayson 03-07-2012 12:15 PM

I always am :pipe:

Real Madrid are rumoured to be getting pissed off at Spurs high valuation. I suspect it is just them trying to keep him again, although it is a risk because why keep a player who is clearly unhappy there now and wants to move on?

Jayson 03-07-2012 12:23 PM

He played so much worse last season than in 10/11 because he hated it there, hopefully if Spurs manage to keep him he'll play even worse next season :pipe:

Ryan57 03-07-2012 12:27 PM

Good appointment, imo. He stood up to the egos at Chelsea, and unfortunately, it got him the sack.

Brother Leon 03-07-2012 12:37 PM

Come on AVB.

Sell us Modric bro.

King Gizzard 04-07-2012 10:50 PM

I think initially he'll struggle like at Chelsea, but he'll get much more time at Spurs and succeed eventually.

Petershaw1984 12-07-2012 10:25 AM

I hope he struggles and takes em down
