It would be so wrong if she won on the sympathy vote...

I would hope that people based a vote on her personality if she makes it to the final, same applies to Lauren who has enjoyed a victim storyline...

Jords 11-07-2012 03:26 PM

So tired and sick of sympathy votes and victim cards.

This.

It's almost as tiring at the 'she's done nothing and is dull' argument.

Isn't it possible that people vote for housemates simply because they like them and how they handled a situation? And that the whole victim/sympthy card thing is something trotted out by people who don't like that particular housemate?

bbfan1991 11-07-2012 03:31 PM

I do like Deana for her personality, don't like Lauren tbh but that is just one reason why people might vote for them.

InOne 11-07-2012 03:33 PM

Lauren hasn't moaned or anything in ages. She's comfortable with her group now and being cool. People will vote for her because they like her, not because she's a victim

Exactly. People pick favourite HMs for their personality (most people anyway......I'll name no names  ) and a big part of deciding if you like a persons personality or not is seeing how they handle awkward situations/arguments, it's a big part of why I like both Deana and Adam actually and I feel sorry for neither but I respect how they deal with horrible situations

Lets be honest, a 'loser' always make themselves more popular in the eyes of the british public, be it a plucky scottish tennis player or a picked-on or picked -out BB housemate. There were far more effervescent characters than rachel rice, but she won because people saw her as the plucky underdog against bigger brasher, and, yes, nastier characters.
Its therefore why D and L are currently 'popular, while the CAC CREW aren't.......

Yayita 11-07-2012 03:38 PM

Not another one of these post.... oh lord have mercy :bored:

WCR1942 11-07-2012 03:46 PM

Perhaps some people just don't like 'effervescent' or 'nastier'(?) characters.
Perhaps they like sane, calm, peace-loving and tolerant characters.
Especially if they are also as attractive to look at as Rachel Rice and Deana Uppal are.

As much as I like Deana, I will be voting for Adam to win

Lauren has moved on from being 'the victim' she has found support from genuine people in there and is simply gives only necessary time of day to the others....Deana should do the same.

If Deana was left in the house with Adam, Lauren and Luke A she would be boring to watch. She 'thrives' on being a victim.

coolface 11-07-2012 04:06 PM

adam 2 win

I am tired of treads like this! Have people thought that allot of her fans actually like her, the fact that she gained the most fans when she confronted Lucas about his relation ship with Ashleigh. People need to stop assuming that Deana's popularity is just because she is a 'victim'. Bet people are just jealous that there favorites don't have much support, have no change against the Deana or have already been evicted. :hmph:

100% agree with you about Deana even though I think she is a nice person, I just don't want her to win, for the very reasons you have said.

dathadiguy 11-07-2012 05:11 PM

These threads are so boring now seriously.

Munchkins 11-07-2012 05:15 PM

Or maybe people just like her?
not sympathy vote..
