The Vaccines - Teenage Icon (new single)

Quote:

The Vaccines have unveiled their new single 'Teenage Icon' and its accompanying music video.

The track is the second to be taken from the band's hotly anticipated second album 'The Vaccines Come Of Age' and follows the release of 'No Hope'. The album will be released on September 3.

The album has been produced by Ethan Johns, who has previously worked on albums by the likes of Kings Of Leon, Laura Marling and Tom Jones. It was recorded earlier this year.

Last month (June 22) the band offered fans a free live EP, recorded in Brighton, to download featuring the tracks 'Tiger Blood', live favourite 'Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)' and their cover of R Stevie Moore's 'Why Should I Love You'. You can download the EP from Vaccinesep.com.

The tracklisting for 'The Vaccines Come Of Age' is as follows:

'No Hope'
'I Always Knew'
'Teenage Icon'
'All In Vain'
'Ghost Town'
'Aftershave Ocean'
'Weirdo'
'Bad Mood'
'Change Of Heart pt.2.'
'I Wish I Was A Girl'
'Lonely World'

So sad when a band runs out of tunes after one album.

No Hope has grown on me but this is terribly boring :(

It's dull but their first album was mainly misses too, they only ever had one or two decent songs.
