Luke A: another sociopath emerges?
 

Is it any wonder Caroline and Luke A have got on so badly? Maybe it's because they're two peas in a pod, two ends of the same stick.........

We've seen many examples of when Luke has manipulated members. For example, when he told the outsiders to 'not trust' Deana, alienating her from his closest confides....when Adam was angry and he told him 'not to get violent' when he clearly was not going to anyway. By doing this he was sowing the seeds into Adams head that he could not use the one weapon Luke fears more than anything - heated conflict. The one thing he cannot control.. dare I say, the one reason why he fears Luke S so much. Something Luke must have known that a man with Adam's past must be very scared and aware of.

Yesterday we saw a complete U-turn, and patching up of awkward relationships for the apparent purpose of house unity? Luke S was first then, Becky, Caroline..the list went on. Why is it happening now, all of a sudden he's up for eviction?

Indeed the plot has now thickened..he now has his eye fixed on sowing the seeds of destruction for Adam and Lauren. For most viewers I think many of us thought that if Adam and Lauren should get too involved it could spell disaster for them both. Luke is not stupid, he would have known that too.

It's taken a long time for it to emerge, but now Caroline is apparently in meltdown, is the power vacuum about to be filled by our Luke?

Nah, he's ok, just insecure at times. Brilliant dramatic build-up though, Fruitcake. Reminded me of the end of Dangermouse.

Luke A isn't in league with satan. As desperate as he might be to win he couldn't sustain the level of evil required for sociopathy
Caroline however continues to commune with the devil. Watch as she makes it to the final. She'll throw Conner under the bus!

i dont think hes manipulative, i think he was only defending his friends.... though he isnt my favourite to win...i quite like him

He is not in any way near carolines level, he is trying to integrate as lydia suggested they should. It is a desprate attempt to stay...I hope it works to be fair I like him.

Mods....I want my first infraction back please, I have been vindicated for being bad about Luke a, it turns out he is the devil reincarnated. After that you can reinstate all the ones I got for being a nob about Deana as she is slowly unaveling as well, lol. Oh god how I love this site. Its better than sex (well the way I do it anyway)

No one in that house is a sociopath or even close to being one. Luke's just emotionally manipulative and Caroline's just spoiled.

I think Luke A has spent his entire life trying to be accepted, to fit in and just be liked for himself.

It must have been brutal for him when he's spent most of the time in the house making genuine friends with those that are good hearted and decent and staying well out of the way of the evil ganglords who converged, plotting and scheming, inside the house only to be told to his face that they don't like him when he hasn't really done that much to offend or aggravate them.

I'm not saying he didn't do his own bit of plotting, scheming and wondering of which HM's could be trusted or not ... but come on, this is BB you have to do it in order to survive. But you cannot compare his plots, schemes and questioning of characters to those of Caroline and her minions who, lets face it, have done some industrial strength bitching, scheming and back-stabbing in order to take complete control of the house and most of them in it.

Nobody likes to be told they're not liked and even more so directly to their face on national/international TV....and I expect it's even worse if you've felt different your entire life and have had to battle to be liked and accepted with it (not only by others but by yourself as well) and have shared your biggest and darkest secret with millions of people.

So, I say give the guy a break.... I think he deserves it!

well, I'm not saying it's for certain it's just something that was brought up last night that struck a chord with me. He's definitely holding something back, I can't quite put my finger on what it is though.

I accept that Luke may not be a sociopath for the record of this thread. That is why I put a question mark at the end of the title. I thought it might make an interesting debate though.

I think hes wonderful, the only genuine one in there this year ,but he will go tonight as yet again Lauren will be saved by the pity voters
