Turkish female news anchor faints during a live report...
A Turkish news anchor blamed low blood pressure when she fainted live on air during an evening bulletin.
Seda Selek, anchorwoman for Kanal 24's daily bulletin appeared to become woozy during the broadcast, frequently looking down the camera in an increasingly panicked state. The split-screen shows her adjusting her chair and attempting to get comfortable, before she slumps backwards and hits the floor with a bump. The man on the other side of the split screen immediately jumps to his feet with a look of concern to help the stricken Ms Selek. Thankfully, the news reader was given the all clear by doctors, according to reports from the country. 'My blood pressure dropped. Doctors have told me I am now fine,' she revealed. Her experience, although a little embarrassing, was nothing compared to what a TV presenter had to go through in Greece recently. His controversial decision to allow a neo-Nazi to express their views on his show resulted in the broadcast being crashed by a number of protesters who pelted the host with yoghurt and eggs. To his credit, Panagiotis Vourhas did not fight back, instead deciding to stand and take the attack, which went on for almost a minute. OMG:eek:, glad she is fine! |
