But insiders have claimed the 24-year-old star angered show bosses with her diva-like behaviour, huge entouage and refusal to do publicity.
Jessie also attracted widespread criticism when she told chat show host graham norton that she didn't even bother watching the show.

A source told the daily mirror: 'jessie j is only young. I hope in a few years she looks back on the way she behaved during the show and cringes.'
meanwhile, despite winning the first series of the voice with his contestant leanne mitchell, sir tom's manager son mark has reportedly advised him against taking part in a second season.

Speaking with comedian rob brydon on his new bbc2 chat show, the sex bomb hitmaker admitted there are a few details which need to be 'ironed out' before he commits to sitting on the judging panel again.

He said: 'i think i will do another series. We are talking about it now. But there are a couple of things that need to be ironed out.
'one of the things i said i need to know is who the other coaches are, because i don’t want to be sitting there with somebody that i don’t admire or particularly like... There are a few of them!
'hopefully, we will have the same four coaches.'

bbc bosses are now said to be desperate to make changess to the £22million show in the hope of rescuing the format after ratings nosedived from 12.1million to a low of 5.1million in week 10.

Producers are reportedly open to talks with potential replacements to join will.i.am and danny o'donoghue on the panel, and are considering running the blind auditions stage of the competition for longer and extending the popular battle rounds segment.

Mailonline has reached out to representatives for both tom and jessie for comment.

Why couldn't Will have quit instead of tom :bored:

Yeah time to cancel and just write it off as a failure

Tom was boring and Jessie got cocky. I much preferred Danny and Will so happy days.

Tom was terrible, almost as bad as Louis, and not as funny.

Tom got rid of the best contestant of the series so I'm glad he's gone :idc:

tom was fantastic, less small talk than danny who got childish at times, but he was a class mentor and picked the best talent in there....you lot wnt agree, but the reason the show has fallen apart is down to 1 person alone, holly willlughby, she has demanded more air time, she ended up interrupting everything, the chat, the judges analysis, the banter and they even cut the singers short too....all that just to see her in a low cut dress...cant stand the woman or her ego, she knows less than nothing about music and gets paid a fortune to interrupt what prmised to be a great show...another example of bbc standards slipping into the gutter

Glad Tom has gone. Jessie though actually made it watchable because she added some fun.

The idea of the show is good but tbh its a **** show with **** judges and **** acts and **** presenters on a **** channel and it had everything going against it. Unless the panel next year is Beyonce, Britney, Gaga & Cher then I wont be watching.

yeah 10 million viewers first 3 weeks, then they bring holly willoughby out to the front and it all falls apart...I blame her 100%
