Could Scott win?

He has been self contained, and very funny. He isn't bitchy as a rule. He keeps his own council but isn't afraid to speak up when something is important to him.
Could he win?

Ramsay 28-07-2012 03:24 AM

he'll make the final but wont win
maybe 3rd or 4th

Jords 28-07-2012 03:27 AM

Would be a bit underwhelming.

Scream 28-07-2012 03:33 AM

Deana
Adam
Luke A
Sara/Conor

Maybe, but I'm thinking he is the most REAL HM. He has been just the same from Day 1, nobody else in there has made me laugh like he has. He has principles, and isn't afraid to speak up when it matters to him. He doesn't try to affect noms either.
Sure, there are bigger characters - but a bigger character isn't necessarily someone who should win. In my eyes, the winner of BB should be the person who conducts themselves well but at the same time is amusing and funny; who doesn't bitch and scheme to get the ultimate prize; who is more principled and braver than the others...who is ultimately REAL.
I realize that that is not what some want in a winner. But it is my winner - and at the moment anyway Scott ticks all those boxes for me.

I loved Scott at 1 point but hes way to and fro with people and sheepy for me to support him anymore. And I dunno if hes that real either with 'having' to take make-up to the DR all the time to apply before he talks with a bit of acting up (the #cheeseface nominating was a major cringe)

Hes sort of lost that humour I loved in the first 3-4 weeks.

Colbert-Bump 28-07-2012 04:19 AM

He'll be in the final, top 5.

I don't think he is sheepy at all. He speaks up when it matters to him - and I think that is admirable, rather than running your mouth off for the sake of it. It takes strength to shut your cakehole and observe and listen.
As for to - ing and fro -ing - I think he goes where it is most comfortable for him at any given time. That is smart, and being adaptable. The other HM's don't see it as a problem as they haven't nominated him.
I love his DR stuff. That is where he can show off his personality and entertain us without the other HM's putting him down, but he doesn't come across as desperate to win at all. I love how laid back he is. I love how he speaks up when it matters. I love how he tries to amuse us without being desperate. He is in that hothouse atmosphere but has stayed true to himself and pretty cool while everyone around him either plots and schemes or loses it, or both. I find that impressive.
No, he probably won't win. But in my eyes, he is what a winner should be. Just my opinion! :wavey:

ozzyshaggah 28-07-2012 04:51 AM

sheeps never prosper so not a snowballs chance in hell

joeysteele 28-07-2012 06:46 AM

Very short answer,yes,in my view.

rsefitpro2011 28-07-2012 08:22 AM

He will make the final but he wont win

Mokka 28-07-2012 08:33 AM

I think he may be a contender... by default mostly but it is possible

gravity 28-07-2012 08:44 AM

Baaa

chuff me dizzy 28-07-2012 10:17 AM

Naah ,nor should he ,will make it to final night, but will be one of first to go

Kizzy 28-07-2012 10:19 AM

Scott to win :)

Black Dagger 28-07-2012 10:26 AM

Nah, I don't think he has a strong enough fan-base, which is a shame really, because he's been one of the few funny house-mates in a tense series.

Marc 28-07-2012 10:27 AM

I hope he doesn't

JTM45 28-07-2012 10:36 AM

Nah!
He's a good bloke but he's just too willing to keep quiet for an easy time in there rather than standing up for what he thinks is right most of the time.
You can see he thinks what the insiders say and do sometimes is just ridiculous but because he knows they've had the numbers in there and people like Conor could turn on him in a second he just says nowt and sheeps along.

I also think his exaggerated poshness alienates him from a lot of the viewing public.

Jamie585 28-07-2012 11:45 AM

He needs to step up his game if he wants to :L

HBB1508 28-07-2012 11:50 AM

He was my favourite on launch night but then he seemed to stay in the background and really didn't do much but he seems to be coming back a bit now - I wouldn't mind him winning over some of the other vile characters in there but I'm not sure that he will.

EzzaB 28-07-2012 02:19 PM

Nah he's a nice lad but he hasn't got as much support as people like Deana, Luke A, Adam and Sara

flamingGalah! 28-07-2012 04:18 PM

Not a chance. And I certainly don't want him too after he stayed in the house after his sister died & couldn't even be bothered to attend her funeral... :nono:

Withano 28-07-2012 04:22 PM

If Deana does something out of character in the next couple of weeks, possibly.

Shaun 28-07-2012 04:25 PM

he's the Tom of this series. Will make the final week, will be the first out in a Wednesday eviction.

Maia 28-07-2012 04:27 PM

Scott to win. Please.
