Why did she think Adam would give her a good prize though?, they don't even like eachother, if Ashleigh had been the one choosing I'd bet my life that she would have given him the toilet brush so what's her point exactly? Sh**ty attitude...........Sh**ty prize Ashleigh, you reap what you sow

Adam was left squirming after Big Brother revealed to the housemates that he picked their prizes for the Standing on the Shoulders of Prizes task.

He was quick to defend his selections which appeased the majority of the housemates. Adam said, "I chose the spa date for you, Conor, so you could take your girlfriend, I gave you the £1,000, Becky, so you could take neph-noff [nephew] away somewhere and I gave you the bike, Sara, because I had given Deana the gym pass."

He also explained that he didn’t realise they would actually be getting the prizes, he thought it was a 'how well do you know your housemates task'. Really?

One housemate was livid and with good reason perhaps. Adam apparently selected the toilet brush for Ashleigh because she "always goes on about wanting one from Big Brother."

She is giving him the silent treatment and says if Adam wants her to start speaking to him again, they will have to sit down and talk about it. Hmm.

Becky is battling her own demons. Adam’s gesture seemed to have genuinely touched her but she didn’t seem to be able to admit it out loud to Ashleigh, Sara, Conor and Luke S, instead whispering to Scott, "It was really nice of him."

What she does seem able to vocalise is her disgust that Adam ate some of the leftover Chinese that the housemates who dropped out of the task earlier had been rewarded with.

We are not sure Adam has even realised Ashleigh is ignoring him, but she seems ready to blow. How long will she last before she has it out with him?

What is her problem, silly girl. Firstly, she needs to get a sense of humour, it was funny Adam giving her that after things she has said. Secondly, she stepped off her box quite early on anyway, so what does it really matter. If she'd stayed on for 13 hours and won i'd understand it more. As for Becky, to scared to tell her 'friends' she was happy with what Adam chose for him. Selfish cow. As for Becky and the chinese, i'm gonna hold my tongue or i'll get banned lol

Trust Becky to get all gobby over food again - poor Adam is surely entitled to have something to eat, I didn't realise BB put Becky in charge of the dinner rota. As for Ashleigh she deserved the bog brush and what's her problem she didn't win it anyway so it's pretty insignificant - and she wonders why she gets booed.

I can't believe BB told the HM that Adam had picked their prizes as well as his, this is **** stirring by BB on a huge scale (similar to the last time BB revealed his thoughts re Shievonne to Shievonne) , the HM will not be happy with this, as he picked for himself one of the bext prizes and he gave Ashleigh the Toilet brush. Also he was in a great position to win this task as he could encourage all the others to give up. The fact that he did win will only reinforce the other HM view of him as being fake and greedy and out for what he can get.

Adam missed a trick here as he should have realised BB would reveal all and he would be seen in a bad light. Better perhaps to have allocated himself a smaller prize or just jumped off and let Deana/Luke S/Luke A fight it out.

All in All this could cost him dear this week re Noms or White Room

I disagree, every single HM in there would have picked a good prize for themselves and crap ones for the people they don't like, all the Insiders would have revelled in doing that much more than Adam did. Infact Adam gave the best prize (imo) to Becky someone he doesn't even like that much, so he behaved better than anyone else would have done imo.

I totally agree. She's proved that's what she is beyond doubt, if there ever was any doubt, there certaintly wasn't any with me :-D

Took the task seriously enough to compete but sensibly enough to dance and joke to keep the others entertained. Slipped in a bit of gender politics (someone please explain that phrase to Ashleigh). She is a cracker.

Yes! Adam allocated the prizes out fairly, he had to give someone the toilet brush and tbh he probably knew she'd be one of the first to give up.

Adam gave Becky the money because he knew there was no way in hell that she would do it but feeling that you cant thank someone because of what others might think is really sad.

What I'm saying is he knows this BB and they can reveal to HM pretty much anything they want, there are no secrets in there. With this in mind he perhaps should have second guessed BB and played a slightly different tactic giving himself a smaller prize or jumping off early, but by winning and the whole task being revealed will reflect negatively on Adam.

True or else it would have made him look like a big game player :laugh: He did what he wanted to do, if people want to look at him negatively over that then that's their problem really, and tbf I don't think anyone other then Ashleigh, Luke S and Conor will look at him badly because of it

I agree, why shouldn't he have some, or did he eat that greedy mare's share she was probably saving. Anyways, wasn't it her and Caroline who nicked Adam's own energy drinks, so why shouldn't he nick the food, if indeed he did that is. I am sure BB meant him to have some or he would have been reprimanded otherwise.

Fair point, perhaps he knew the "risks" and decided to go ahead anyway, I suppose he could defend his position to some extent by pointing out Becky had probably the best prize (although he probably knew she would never win).

So hopefully he still has the support of the Outsiders so he probably will be OK. I hope this weeks task (White room ??) doesn't depend on one on one or secret ballot voting cos then he may miss out.... just a thought.

If he had taken a small prize, people would say he was playing to the cameras. So may aswell pick what you want :laugh:

As for Ashleigh...he had to give it to someone, and its not like he gave the people he doesnt like really bad things. I would rather have had beckys prize, could have bought a new tv, and one that you wanted rather than what BB picked for you. But I heard there was a 2 week holiday somewhere too? Not mentioned in here, but if there was that would have been mine :D

I don't know, it's scaring me though :eek: I hope someone I don't like doesn't get that free pass. I would be ok with any of the outsiders, Scott or Sara

The only holiday was a trip to Barcelona which he gave to Luke A, I think it was only two days though rather than 2 weeks
