I used to do it when I was younger but I already had blonde hair and it went white blonde in parts.

But you have to sit in the direct sunlight for a while to see some difference. Scott's hair has been bleached so all it will do to him is just dry it out and may damage it quite a lot if he doesn't use conditioner.
