Reasons for Nominations?
 

Why was Beckys sister allowed to give a reason for her nomination and the others weren't? Or did they only show that one reason on BOTS?

I would guess they all got to give their reasons but C5 decided only to show Becky's sisters to stir it up for Luke A :(

Emma said they had shown becky's sister's reason as to Luke A because they were going to show more of Luke A in the programme later.

(For a hatchet job on him as it turned out).

Think we will see all the reasons tonight, probably just showed that one on BOTS because of the drama it caused

Seriously everyone needs to shut the **** up about these conspiracy theories. They're in five different threads now about how C5 is out to get Luke A because of BOTS. Bit on the Side is a show to discuss the recent events. That was a recent event, it was shown and discussed. Nothing more, nothing less. MOVE ON.

Yeah alright, this is a forum, everyone is entitled to voice their opinion without being told to shut the **** up.

An opinion is one thing, a contrived conspiracy theory is another.

With Beckys sister nominating Luke A based on the BMI fact, it is a pity that Dean's friend didn't (to my knowledge) give her reasons, when nominating Conor, that he totally slagged Deana off in a very abusive & degrading manner. But then again, Deana and her friends and family do appear to have some dignity compared to the Jeremy Kyle fodder such as Becky and her lot.

Probably best off tbf, I don't think Deana knowing would be good for her. She's really come out of herself and seems to be happy and having fun, it would be a bad thing to change that now so close to the end.

I was under the impression that Deana has been told about it by BB. But maybe they haven't gone into specifics.

You're right, because the fall-out is the drama we viewers love, but doesn't showing this ahead of all the other reasons put an advantage towards Becky now the voting is opened.

I guess you are right Niamh. Just annoys me a tad that friends and family are allowed to give their reasons on what they have seen and heard that can prove to be derogatory to another HM. I think it would have been better if they (F&F) had said they were nominating such a HM based on what they didn't like what someone had said about their loved one and not actually said what it was.

Yes Im afraid it does....BOTS does let itself down on occasion, there were also alot of knowing looking passing between Emma and Jamie ...very strange....to air one nomination reason, and then spend the rest of the show slating Luke A was quite bizarre (imo Tonytrunkit), I would have been more interested in hearing why Saras mother nominated Scott , :conf:

Bottom line here is when the BMI comment was made, nobody on this forum made much of it, it was taken as a rather tongue in cheek heat of the moment remark which was quite funny (imo Tonytrunkit), now suddenly Luke A is the devil in disguise...

The problem is as I have found from some people today,they don't mind insults as a general nature but appearance insults and comments they really don't like.
A reference to someones size for instance, now Becky will have come across this before as to her appearance,so now with the advantage you point out,she can milk this for all its worth.

Luke A's problem is that he,from the first day in the house felt a need to explain his story and was really concerned as to his appearance, people greatly empathised with him as to that. This comment, although a throwaway comment,he made as to Becky does relate to appearance and to some he has lost a fair bit of credibility to have made a joke as to her size after worrying so much as to being accepted for himself.

I fear tonight on the highlights and on bbbots too,he will have another round of negative showings as to him,BB couldn't be seen to trying to excuse the comments and so he could pay a big price for a daft,off the cuff remark as sadly happens in a BB series.

Had a female housemate made the comment it may have passed over but a Male housemate saying it about a Female housemate appears not to be acceptable,not with a lot of the public anyway.
I feel for Luke A on this one, I certainly cannot see Becky dropping it,especially since she too is up for eviction.
