Someone is nasty on Twitter and the Police are called?

really?

Jarrod 31-07-2012 01:26 PM

Yes. Someone told Tom Daley that he let his dead dad down. He's worked hard as anything to get where he is. He doesn't need some stupid idiot on Twitter who thinks he's as hard as anything slating him.

Smithy 31-07-2012 01:27 PM

he made death threats, i think thats why the police got involved

Mrluvaluva 31-07-2012 01:31 PM

Liam Satcey served 28 days in prison over his twitter outburst with regards to Fabrice Muamba.

Was that not racially motivated?

Smithy 31-07-2012 01:33 PM

He went off on one again later on saying he'd find him and drown him in the pool

Yes. Any kind of threat or racist outburst is not tolerated.

So if i tweeted that I thought lady gaga and justin beiber were utter crap and that their music was formulaic tripe that hoodwinked their pathetic fans into parting with their money the police would be arresting all the people who made threats to me?

Smithy 31-07-2012 01:45 PM

thats not a death threat arista

thats what we were all thinking

rSlavenx 31-07-2012 02:10 PM

100% correct that the police should be involved in this. The boys entire timeline is absolutely vile, his tweets towards 'Olly Riley' and Tom Daley are disgusting. Then the YouTube video is threatening and racist, not to mention psychotic.

Crimson Dynamo 31-07-2012 02:11 PM

is "i could kill for a Greggs pasty" a death threat?

No thats a Joke

GiRTh 31-07-2012 02:29 PM

Its got out of hand TBH. I dont believe that freedom of speech means freedom to be abusive, as many twitter users do, but I do think the user should be banned and nothing more. Idiots like this are the cost of having such a service.

Shaun 31-07-2012 03:59 PM

He was clearly issuing death threats to a number of people as well as Tom Daley, and pretending this is some kind of infringement upon human rights is just sill-oh it's LeatherTrumpet.

Yes Shaun he is a 17 year old that loves playing the Evil one (not getting sex)

Jack_ 31-07-2012 04:06 PM

Yeah I expect it's the death threats that warranted the arrest, he makes them all the time towards Olly Riley as well. Telling him he's going to come and kill him and his family etc. He does it all the time so it seems just enough to me.

So can the Police/Courts stop the 17year old going online?

Is that possible?
