Luke S 'gave up' 50k...

http://apps.facebook.com/bigbrother-...ner-is-served/

This is getting ridiculous, and I quite like the guy too. But why is he insisting on lying about this?

Apparently he 'gave up 50k to stay in the house'.

EVERYONE SAW YOU PUSH THE BUTTON YOU FOOL!!!

We even have screenshots of your face when you thought you pushed it first, and compare them with the ones when you realised Conor beat you. Be a man and admit it instead of spinning all this crap :bored:

Locke. 09-08-2012 12:23 AM

We all know he purposely pressed it late to ensure Conor won, staying until the final was more important to him

Ramsay 09-08-2012 12:25 AM

he's trying to convince himself more than anything to ease the pain
i'd be saying the same thing if i was in his position

Then the realisation that infact Conor pressed the button 1st..

A distraught Luke S looking at the screen with the 50K displayed on it..

Bravo for having some compassion. It's in short supply around here.

He should admit he pressed the button. I do feel a bit sorry for him, but he should be honest and tell the truth. :)

AshesonMars 09-08-2012 12:46 AM

I think what he means is that he wasn't going to push the button. To be fair to him, Conor did say to him to push it several times and he didn't, which I think people have forgotten about. Then when it got to £50'000 he pushed it, but was beaten to it by Conor.

I don't think it's honestly that big of a deal. Far worse things have been said in that house than Luke S being slightly economical with the truth.

True. However I'm quite sick of every thread being about, or turning into a thread about.. one certain housemate (Im sure you can guess which) so I thought I may start a discussion about one of the others. Though Im sure by tomorrow this one will be about that one certain housemate too :bored:

I think he was in total turmoil...should I press it, shouldn't I press it. It was all happening so fast. When it stopped at 50k I think his reflex action was to press the button and he did. To be fair, Conor was playing him and distracting him an and admitted himself that he 'sucked him in'.
His indecision cost him the 50k and he was outwitted by Conor which may possibly hurt more. The only way he can deal with that is to block out reality to help himself cope. It's a mechanism we all use when we don't want to face the truth. He'll face it eventually, but it's too soon just yet.

PInternet 09-08-2012 01:46 AM

I keep saying this...glad someone else is angry about this.

flamingGalah! 09-08-2012 09:40 AM

It's so he can keep getting handjobs off Slagleigh, if he told her he wanted to press it first to leave there & then with £50k & not stay with her, she would have his balls for breakfast :joker:

I hate connor with a passion but he clearly said to luke 'hit it at 40'. He didnt distract luke. He only spoke to him, I think twice, saying 'what about ash' or summat, the minute was counting down and luke wasnt pressing it. Luke was waiting for the money to go up - that's called greed. It was only when he realised it wasnt going up any further that he pressed only to find connor had (admittedly sneakily) pressed it first.

Gillian-73 09-08-2012 09:48 AM

He's very embarrassed but it would make him look a lot better if he admitted what he done instead of lying. I mean, all the HMs saw it, all the viewers saw it, so he is making himself look very silly!

:joker::joker::joker:

OMG thanks for the laugh.

The only reason he waited to push it was that he didn't realise it would only go up to 50k. Conor has admitted this. He was waiting for it to go past the 50k mark and it was only when BB gave the 5 second countdown did he realise he had to push it then at the limit of 50k or get nothing ... only Conor beat him to it. :joker:

Please people, lets not be so gullible! The guy wanted more, realised he had to settle for half, failed to hit the button in time and was completely sucked in by Conor the con man.

Moral of the story for Luke S is:

1. Never believe a bull ****ter
2. Don't be so greedy in future, and
3. Push the button faster!

:joker:

I know. He's so full of it!

What an egotistical twat.

MTVN 09-08-2012 10:03 AM

Thing is he came in saying what a lying bastard Conor is and how they'd agreed Luke would press it so I dunno how he can claim this really

Livia 09-08-2012 10:03 AM

Maybe he thinks we're all as daft as his "girlfriend".

JTM45 09-08-2012 10:05 AM

That bicep tattoo says everything there is to know about Luke S!!!:joker:

He even had the gall to brag about said tattoo a few days ago too. How very dare he! :laugh3:
