It is a very good film i will give you that better than i thought it would be but cripes that was hard to watch.

yeah but those characters were not even introduced so meh

the movie is depressing because you get to see how the abuse affects the 2 boys its not depressing just because the abuse happened

THATS WHY THE ENDING SCENE IS THE SADDEST PART OF THE MOVIE imo

The fact that the other characters werent even introduced is the saddest part because the scenes you see are probably playing out for lots of other people all in equally sad ways just because we dont see it doesnt make it less sad so meh.

That was only the beginning of his tragedy though

gummo to me just looks like one of those movies that has a cult following because its just plain weird and not necessarily a good movie :conf2:
