Live stream offline!

Apparently for "maintenance".

SNEEZER 11-07-2006 02:40 PM

YEAH BUT ANYTHING COULD BE HAPPENING!

Craiggy 11-07-2006 02:40 PM

:puzzled:

Wonder what is happening!?

Hippy 11-07-2006 02:41 PM

I dunno, it's annoying not knowing though! It just on TV or is the internet feed down too?

blackgloves 11-07-2006 02:50 PM

All feeds are down apparently.

Craiggy 11-07-2006 02:51 PM

It is a bit wierd that the live stream is offline!

What was hapening before the live stream went off? Anyone know?

darmitage48 11-07-2006 02:52 PM

At 1.31p.m
bb was cut off
just as
Aisleyne was rocking back and forth in the kitchen .
Aisleyne then listened to Jayne and Suzie as
Jayne was sucking butter off her thumb....
bb's cut off.

blackgloves 11-07-2006 02:54 PM

It was around 2.30pm ish that it went off

DizzyLizzy 11-07-2006 02:54 PM

Is it still off?

Hippy 11-07-2006 02:55 PM

I was just watching E4+1's BB Live and it all seemed normal. Perhaps there is no other reason than for maintenance. I'm sure Jayne's face is putting a lot of pressure on those camera lenses and her belching is probably killed a mic or two.

Hippy 11-07-2006 03:01 PM

It's still off! This is odd, normally if there's something they don't want us to see they use the pre-recorded clips of random features in the house.

It was 15:30 on E4+1 as I sat here watching it!

blackgloves 11-07-2006 03:05 PM

So it was at 2.30pm on E4!! The people at DSBB say so, and there normally right lol

They are major addicts! (Although I must be too from managing over 100 posts in my first day of being a member!)

blackgloves 11-07-2006 03:09 PM

lol, they are addicts - if you want blanket up to date coverage - check there, especially the WHATM threads, although nothing is happening at the moment lol

Hippy 11-07-2006 03:13 PM

Here's something from DSBB:

I found this on another forum (not sure if its been posted here):

The "rumour" is that Jennie and Nikki were arguing in the bedroom. Jayne walked in and was defending Nikki. Jennie said something that I can not repeat here. And Jayne went ballistic, a big fight erupted. And when I say big, I mean BIG. This could be the end of BB7.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Due to UK broadcasting regs, if there was an "altercation" that resulted in physical violence, C4 will be obliged to cease the feed for as long as investigating parties/authorities deem necessary.

blackgloves 11-07-2006 03:17 PM

I wish it was true, but i doubt it - more likley that the bosses have gone down to the pub, as its lovley and sunny

Hippy 11-07-2006 03:20 PM

Not sure if this is related, but the C4 forums are really slow this afternoon.

SNEEZER 11-07-2006 03:22 PM

Technical difficulties is my guess. The only people likely to explode at the moment are Spiral and Jayne.

easypeasy 11-07-2006 03:33 PM

the stream is only going to be running on the tv for another week. Film4 starts on that frequency soon free to air!

Wont that just affect FreeView? Film4 already has a channel on Sky.

easypeasy 11-07-2006 03:58 PM

yeah its affecting freeview in as much as its going to move to the bb livestream frequency, but it also affects sky in as much as it will no longer be a subscription channel.
"FilmFour will be free to Sky customers from 20th July 2006. The existing service will stop on the 19th, then on the 20th, FilmFour launches their new (as letter claims) Free to Air service. It also states if you have any FilmFour Recordings on Sky+ to watch them by 19th July. Current subscribers will be able to record FilmFour as usual from the 23rd July, 3 days after the final payment. More on this from Skyisthebest The final night/early morning of the 'old' FilmFour will be Wed 19th/Thur 20th July. Then there will be a gap of a few days where 'Previews' of the 'new' FilmFour will be shown. Then, the free films will start on Sunday 23rd July. MediaGaurdian is reporting that Film 4's big opening night premiere, the Oscar-winning Lost in Translation, may have one of the most ambiguous endings in recent film history, but the broadcaster is hoping for a more traditionally Hollywood conclusion to its plans to launch a free movie channel."

It wont affect my viewing pleasure then (although our live stream often breaks up!)

easypeasy 11-07-2006 04:04 PM

can you still get more4+1 on sky? that is the channel that is being used temperarily for the bb stream on freeview, and will soon be film4.
